Dr. Mark Joseph Urban, DDS

Dr. Urban was my family's dentist for more than 30 years. He saw to myself, my wife, and my 4 children, including the braces phase. Soft spoken, kind, and generous, he was the antithesis of the horror tales you normally hear about dentists. The ladies who worked with him, Teresa, Tammy, & Tracy were exceptional. Each visit was more like a family reunion. I've seen disparaging remarks in one of the ratings. So be it, but it was never my experience. Perhaps someone else needs to look in the mirror. We're going to miss Dr. Urban and the rest of the crew. Best wishes to all.

Dr. Urban is such a good dentist that we drive 8 hours for our appts twice a year, stay in a hotel and drive home the next day. The reason is that their not a kinder nicer human being on this earth and the care is beyond excellent. From the front Check in with Theresa who manages everything with great care from helping file insurance to appointments, she is quiet and professional with a heart of gold. Then to Tracy the hygenist who is straight up business and doesnt miss anything cleaning but is always careful gentle and her heart felt stories will make your forget your actually getting your teeth cleaned, so much for being nervous. To the most effiecient dental assistant Tammy that anybody could imagine, her confident and reassuring eyes and smile put you at ease. And to the the most gentle and kind dentist alas Dr. Mark Urban who is the most amazing and detailed dentist ever. He always takes a moment to chat to see how your teeth are and if you have any changes, pain,… anything concerns. He checks your teeth with great skill and soft touch that you never feel pain of any kind. My whole family has migrated to this dentist. We can't begin to say how much we appreciate Theresa, Tammy, Tracy and Dr. Urban for years of great service, care and kindness. We are and always will feel welcome, cared for and appreciative to this fine office and staff each individually and as a team. Thank you from this military family for taking care of us all and especially my mom the widow of deceased wounded warrier we are truly grateful.

I have been treated by Dr. Urban, and his staff for almost 20 years, He is an outstanding, dentist. His staff is Fantastic, and more like friends. I saw a foul comment about one of his staff, and have to strongly not agree.. That person is fantastic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Urban's for over 25 years. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In addition to being an outstanding Dentist, he is a wonderful human being. He is kind, gentle, caring and takes a deep interest in his patients as a person as well as their dental care. His office staff are wonderful also. Always responsive, competent and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Urban and his staff.

Dr. Urban is incrediabally kind, but a few of his employees are rough on the teeth, wait time is LONG, squeezing too many in at once. Teresa is mean and snotty in a sneaky way, never liked her; she's the main reason I don't go there anymore. And yes, she seldom answers the phone, talks snotty, and takes forever while you stand there to schedule you.

The best recommendation I can give is that I drive from Miami to Palm Bay because Mark Urban is the best in the state!

My long time dentist retired. Dr. Urban was recommended. Don't forget you usually barely see the dentist, unless there's a problem. I called at 10:00, left message & was never called back. Tried again a few days later, no answer, but did get called back. Appt. was nearing, that day or the next. No reminder call. Called to verify appt. , & got an answer! Several minutes of flipping through a book (No computers?!), and was told she couldn't find my appt., but would call back. Never called back, and I gave up. I assumed the office was comfy and clean -- 3 stars. I'm trying to be fair. Making an appt was as fun as a root canal, what would real root canal feel like?!! I work at Harris and was busy. He didn't have a computer to track appts, so poor technology rating. Does he have novacaine, or do you chug whisky?! . He doesn't even have a dedicated receptionist, or she doesn't answer the phone. And the wait was forever, so 1+ hours was infinitely generous. (Get… it?! LOL Geek humor) Not being able to reach the office is not very caring. FIND ANOTHER DENTIST

I have been at patient for over 20 years and experienced nothing but the best of service by Dr. Urban and his staff members. He has resolved any issues that have arisen over the years with my dentist care. I highly recommend Dr. urban.
