Dr Vanderburgh has a great bedside manner and he makes a lot of diagnoses but they aren't accurate and he doesn't follow up with the pathology and referrals to specialists who can make firm diagnosis. In reviewing my medical records I found over a dozen grossly inaccurate diagnoses that he'd never mentioned to me.

Dr. V has been our primary care physician for our family for over 10 years. He works very will with kids, listens well, effectively communicates with us and has always worked to provide quality health care and offer guidance.

I went here as a follow up to an emergency room visit and Dr. Vanderburg did absolutely nothing for me except bill me $142. I had to go to Salem Urgent Care for the help I needed later that night because I was in so much pain. He also claims to be a Christian, but he sure seemed more worried about the fact that I was uninsured than helping a brother out. Boo to you Dr. Vanderburg, and I hope this review hurts you in the pocket book like you left me hurting in pain that day.

Has one malpractice claim for which his insurer paid $320K settlement; failed to refer elderly patient to cardiologist despite acknowledging patient's illness may have been cardiac related; refused to see patient after ER visit and opted instead to prescribe psychotic drug for patient when totally unwarranted; patient died within 3 months from visit complaining of shortness of breath from heart attack or congestive heart failure. He should be barred from practicing medicine.

Dr. Vanderburgh gave me a sense that he cared about helping me as an individual. He spends the needed time with me, and I feel I have a relationship with him. I referred my now adult son to him and he liked him, too.
