his appointments can run late, but he gives you all the time you need and does not rush you through your appointment.

This practitioner is a very good listener. You can expect to wait however if you want to have his undivided attention than you must have patience as others also have concerns. This does cause a wait but I rather wait than be rushed out of my appointment. I feel most of my concerns are addressed.

My entire family LOVES our doctor, Dr. Velarde. He is easy to relate to, down- to-earth, and his professionalism has no equal. My husband had been dealing with a number of medical issues for years, with no relief. In our first visit, Dr. Belated took the time to deal with each issue,patiently. He will take the time that is needed to deal with your problem completely. He has a great sense of humor. He shared with us that he went into medicine because a family member suffered with polio, and he wanted to know how to help them! What a calling! You may wait a little bit,but he will also spend that time with you when it is your turn!!

typically have to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour for an appointment. Even first appointment of the day. office could be cleaner and Dr. Velarde should wash his hands when entering the room before examining a new patient.

Dr. Velarde is a caring, kind doctor who you WILL have some wait so give yourself extra time. You won't mind the wait when you realize he doe NOT rush you at all and takes the time to listen to his patients. This is very refreshing especially if you ever been rushed before only to get home and realize you forgot so many topics you wanted to speak to your Physician about. His staff is nice enough but I feel they could be much more professional and after many years this has not changed...

Dr. Velarde is a great doctor. He listens and will refer you to a specialist as necessary. Normally wait 10 to 20 minutes to be seen. Dr. V does not rush you.
