Dr. Mark Kurt Villwock, MD

Horrible bedside manner, wouldn't discuss information from NEJM, arrogant, patients seem viewed as ignorant.

Dr. Villwock gave me the impression that I was not important and that his time was more valuable than me. He appeared completely detached. Perhaps, the real Dr. Villwock died and was replaced with a robo-villwock.

What is Memorable. Some of these guys have the personality of a wet noodle. He is one of them. He seems disinterested and removed from reality. His only comment about my problem was to send me to a specialist . His manner was almost rude. It appeared that he was in another world or dimension. I wouldn't let him look at my dog. For 5 minutes he charged hundreds of $$$

Went to Dr. Villwock for a cyst in my back as big as a golf ball- it had ruptured and was infecting almost half of my back. I went into his room, he asked what I was there for, I told him it was a cyst in my back that had ruptured. He asked me to take off my shirt, he saw how huge it was, he said he could just "lance it" there, I said no, I wanted a surgeon to do it, he said OK. I put on my shirt, went out of his room and that was the last I saw of Dr, Villwock. It was literally an under 3 minute visit - and I received a bill from him for $150.00+ dollars. He did absolutely nothing, the visit lasted only 3 minutes - and he still had the gall to bill me $150.00+.

Dr. Villwock did not exhibit a caring relationship. He didn't ask questions or appear to care about what was going on with me. I had to seek a new primary care physician because my other doctor had left the area. His intentions were to have me repeat all the testing for which I had already completed over the course of the last few years. Even routine type prescriptions he refused to refill without seeing numerous specialty doctors or redoing tests which were expenses which were unnecessary since all the diagnosis and notes were in my medical history. It was like he didn't want to do his job or read the medical notes. He wanted me to start over which would be questioned by my insurance since I had already seen specialists and been diagnosed with specific conditions. My intention was to find a doctor who I could continue to work with and improve my general well being but he wasn't interested in that. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and won't be returning.
