Arrogant sums him up the best. And he has a blatant disregard for hippa law and patient rights. Do yourself a favour and go to savannah instead of wasting tome on this quack!

The best cardiologist! I had a pounding in my chest. Dr Watkins immediately did a stress test, EKG and Heart Catheterization. He informed me during the procedure what the findings were and came out during recovery. The office called me that night. After by-pass surgery he scheduled an appointment for the next 2 months. I’ve been there every 6 months since 2012. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Mark is an excellent MD and always answers all my questions. Never in a rush. The office staff that I’ve dealt with have always been nice and caring.

Excellent Experience and Follow up! Dr Watkins spoke with me after the catheterization. His office called afterwards to see how I was doing. I had bypass surgery at St Vincent in Jacksonville. I saw Dr Watkins 1 month later and every 6 months thereafter. Dr Watkins spoke with me and reviewed my labs every 6 months. No Problems, He is a caring and excellent physician. I moved out of state and really hated to leave his care. I highly recommend Dr Watkins as a Cardiologist. Patient Health is his main concern and your overall well being.

71 years and my first visit to a Doc. Wow if this guy knows 1/100 about medicine as his patients thinks he does he's got my vote for Sec. of Health and Human Services. This office is a machine with nothing but smiles and "How are you doing today". I come from a family of Doc's and was raised on Castor Oil. This guy is off the hook. Thanks you very much for your kindness. The staff should be paid twice what they are. "Is there a Doctor in the house"

Wonderful Dr seems to care about his patients

AFTER THE INITIAL PROCEDURE IS FINISHED, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE THIS DOCTOR. HE DOES NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS AND WILL NOT SEE A PATIENT ON A STAND-BY BASIS IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY. HE REFERS ALL POST-TREATMENT PATIENTS TO HIS NURSE PRACTITIONER, OLIVIA NEAL, FOR ANY FOLLOW-UP OBSERVATIONS OR TREATMENTS. HE IS AN ASSEMBLY-LINE PHYSICIAN WHO IS TOTALLY ALOOF, ARROGANT AND DISCONNECTED FROM HIS PATIENTS. IN ADDITION, DR. WATKINS IS A HORRIBLE DIAGNOSTICIAN!

I think Watkins is in for the money it is very hard to see him. I found his office will turn you over to his Nurse Practitioners and you will never see the doctor.

Always have a good dialog with him.

Dr Watkins was very thorough and took a detailed family history. I find him to be an aggressive doctor, one who listens to the patient, and does what needs to be done. He is personable, qualified, and has an excellent communication style.
