Dr. Mark J. Wegmann, MD

Dr Wegmann did a fine job of explaining the procedure and the staff was well trained and very knowledgeable. Also the flavour of the diuretic (?) is much better.

Dr. Wegmann is very friendly and caring. He takes the time to explain everything so that you can understand it.

My overall appointment with Dr. Wegmann was not good, I didn’t feel listened to or supported as a new patient. He was insensitive to the concerns that I came in with around digestion and foods that I believed were triggering headaches. He diagnosed me with constipation, bloating, and anxiety but did not discuss the anxiety diagnosis with me until I happened to look at the paperwork the nurse brought in - Dr. Wegmann said he’d be back in but sent the nurse instead and was done with the appointment. I asked for him to return as he stated he would to finish the questions I had; he didn’t sit down but stood in the doorway responding briefly seemingly ready to leave. He did respond to the questions but I felt rushed during the appointment and he made my concerns seem insignificant, recommending I try steak. He was honest about not having expertise in areas and recommending other specialists but overall it felt that he didn’t care. When I asked how much time he usually spends with patients… (as a first time patient trying to understand the rush), he avoided the question and said I’ve spent a long time with you (it’d been about 15 mins). The nurse was very sweet and helpful, letting me know the doctors are usually only scheduled for 15 minutes but that she understood the need for more time. I wanted to be thorough as I’d just had a serious health scare and expected to receive speciality care, but was disappointed with the treatment I received.

Dr Wegmann addressed all of our concerns. Always a pleasure to visit with him.

I completely trust Dr Wegmann. He considers all alternatives before deciding. He carefully answers questions in a way you can understand. He is very personable and friendly. I highly recommend him.

He is a very caring doctor. I never feel rushed with him and he is super compassionate. Excellent bed side manners.

I have been seeing Dr. Wegmann for a few years now. He is very responsive to my questions and needs. He advises me when I am due for a recommended test. He is very friendly. He is good at authorizing prescription refills. I highly recommend him.
