Dr. Mark Weidenbaum, MD

Dr. Mark Weidenbaum seems to only care about surgery. If you don’t need surgery he doesn’t seem to care about what you’re dealing with. Weidenbaum comes off as unprofessional (over 30-minutes late for the appointment) and doesn’t have the best bed side manner.

I could not have asked for a better Doctor. I am 7 weeks post surgery and feel I made the right choice. Dr. Weidenbaum takes the time to tell you everything you need to know. If I could give 10 stars I would !!!

Dr. Weidenbaum was attentive to not only my medical needs, but also and most remarkably to my personal concerns. I had a back fusion which was of course, a surgery of great significance to the quality of my life. The doctor showed utmost professionalism and expertise, while also expressing compassion and empathy for my recovery. Moreover, as a compliment to his practice, the nurses - Adrien and Gilbert, who were trained by him, offered exemplary care. The doctor showed up at my bedside following the surgery to offer encouragement and kind words. I am indebted to him for my newfound ease of movement and excellent quality of life. I highly recommend Dr. Weidenbaum.

Dr. W was a wonderful surgeon. I had spine surgery in Helen Hayes Hospital in 1002, and he is a godsend.

Dr. Weidenbaum is such a wonderful doctor. He is an excellent surgeon who explains your condition fully with all of the details you need to make a decision as to how you would like treatment or procedure handled. He's not a "shotgun" Dr. that pushes a patient into surgery - but gives you the options that will fit your needs. Diagnosis is right on the money. I also have to say that he has the kindest bedside manners to go with his brilliance as a doctor/surgeon. Also great follow-up as well. Truly the best you can find anywhere!

Dr. Weidenbaum performed a spinal fusion on me in 2001, still feel great.

I became a patient of Dr. Mark Weidenbaum at the age of 7 or 8, with diagnosis of juvenile scoliosis. I had an aggressive case, and Dr. Weidenbaum performed the spinal fusion surgery. I am almost 25 years old. Essentially, symptom free and just completed my first half marathon. Dr. Mark Weidenbaum is a great physician, surgeon, and person. To this day I still follow up every 3-4 years, he still remembers my case, and my entire family.

Dr. Weidenbaum, in my opinion was a superb surgeon. Most importantly he treated me with respect. He was kind, considerate, and even funny! He did not participate with my insurance carrier, but worked with them out of network. I never had to pay for my office visits nor my surgery. I had lived with back pain for more than 30 years and now my life has changed since the surgery in a great way, NO PAIN! My experience was so good, that if I needed to have this surgery again I would do it in a heartbeat, as long as Dr. Weidenbaum was my surgeon. I hope this review helps.
