Dr. Mark Jeffrey Weinstein, MD

I went to Dr Weinstein yesterday and he was very rude to me. He wanted me to take medications similar or stronger than the meds that got me very sick and one that crippled me. My husband and I are still in shock. The staff was very polite but this doctor needs empathy and knowledge about things besides allergy shots. Then he suggested I see a doctor in another state and let her give me meds in a hospital setting because they were very dangerous. I have severe mcas and read good reviews about Dr Weinstein. I wish I had seen his bad reviews. I’m still upset. I have a lot more to say but I want to warn people who have complex illnesses like mcas and have gotten very sick from certain medications- do not make an appointment with Dr Weinstein.

I had been seeing this doctor for ~17 yrs. I went to him, because I needed skin checks. He biopsied a variety of moles. I called at the end of 2015 to get an appointment, but they refused to see me. Apparently, they drop patients that do not come at least once a year. I asked the nurse about my history and she refused to make an appointment. My prior appointment with Dr. Weinstein, he refused to write an Rx for my thyroid medication. I had my blood work, but he said another doctor in the practice wrote my last Rx. He insisted that I see that doctor to get the Rx. I did not appreciate the inflexibility, but I am overwhelmed by being dropped as a patient after going to the this practice for over 17 yrs. I would recommend them to no one.

Don't go! I went to Weinstein for 2-3 years. He was always distracted, and clearly not focused on me, my concerns, my health overall. Then, I developed what he MIS-diagnosed as an infection that -- his words -- "could be fatal" and a run-in with his amazingly inept office staff, I went through days of powerful intravenous antibiotics. Finally, a smarter doctor diagnosed it as an arthritic inflammation. In follow-up, Weinstein was combative and pushed for me to thank him for his diagnosis and concern!! The nerve of him!!

I have been seeing Dr. Weinstein for 12 years - I will never go to another physician! Highly reccommend him.

I have been seeing Dr Weinstein for 8 years, and he is just wonderful. I never had a problem with him.
