Total and complete jerk.

I am always able to call same day to get an appointment, as long as i am flexible, but when i am sick I am just grateful for an appointment. Sometimes there is a wait, but its because they are a busy office. Some people only review something when they are dissatisfied, which is not fair to this office, because you can't please everyone. this office does a great job trying :) the staff and practitioners are great!

I brought my son to receive shots for a physical and preventive care. Now mind you, I do work in the insurance field and understand the coding of things. Well, when we 1st came we were not charged a co-pay due to the reason for the visit. Now my son had to come back for the second set of shots and instead of them coding it as a return to complete the preventive visit, they tell my son there will be a co-pay. Now, I had to speak to them because my son was a minor (17) and was given permission for him to be there without me. I was routed to the account manager who understood my concern and told me there will be no charge since it was attached to the previous visit. Guess what, I get off the phone, my son comes home and the tells me the lady said I will still get billed a co-pay. Really?? Why was this not told to me on the phone when you told me I wouldn't, real shady. I received a bill which I am now disputing. I will dispute this thing until someone is held accountable for the lies and… unprofessionalism. Not to add when my 4-year-old got shots, the nurse was unprofessional and seems to have some strife with her co-workers (very apparent)

What an experience...this jerk talks at you, not to you. Spent a few minutes with me, misdiagnosed me, rude "bedside manner." Avoid this clown at all costs.

Very surprised by negative reviews although some are old. Found office to be pleasant and friendly. I have seen Dr Weissman as well as his PA's and found all to be caring and extremely competent. I have no complaints with the care I received and would highly recommend the office to any family or friend (I have)

Dr. Weissman is the best in his practice. He spends time with me and is genuinely concerned about my health.

When I first saw Dr. Mark Weissman for my diabetes, he seemed like a very caring, upbeat, professional guy. However, after 4 years of seeing him, I suddenly found myself in the emergency room of my local hospital because I thought I was having a stroke. It turned out that I was actually suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease and only had about 30% left of my kidney functioning! Weissman had earlier told me my kidneys were just fine but all the time that I saw him (4 years) he'd never followed up with any more tests on my kidneys. In fact, I learned from the Nephrologist who saw me in the hospital that the medicine he had me on was actually causing my condition to worsen! Now, I have learned from my Nephrologist that any Dr. worth his/her salt would have been testing my blood regularly for kidney functioning at a minimum of every 6 months (but the best Docs test every 3-4 months). So, thanks to Dr, Mark Weissman, I'm soon to go on Dialysis (which I'll be on for the rest of my… much shortened life) unless I'm lucky enough to get a kidney transplant. Dialysis is not a cure, of course, it only staves off the inevitable result of kidney failure; death. Taking your medicine is not enough when you have Diabetes. Make sure you are seeing a Doctor who is an expert on the subject, one that routinely tests your blood to see how your kidney's are functioning. You don't want to suddenly find out you're going to die because of a condition that can only be fixed by a transplant and which could have easily been prevented from happening by a competent physician who cared enough to monitor his patient's health regularly.
