Dr. Mark Edward Whitaker, MD

Not looking forward to seeing the doc if I have to deal with front office staff like I did on the phone. Maybe the scheduling department is in another country because they couldn’t answer any question even down to the location of the office. I was on hold for 22 minutes before this woman who didn’t know where they were located, or what hospital the dr works out of, or any other question I had. It’s taking me 3 weeks to get an appointment when my PCP said immediately. And in an office that’s an hour away from me. I hope the doctors knowledge and bedside manner sure make up for this unaware scheduling technician.

Tried calling as a new patient. Pressed 5 for Dr. Whittaker’s “medical assistant “. I barely got 5 words out of my mouth before the assistant interrupted me, told me I called the wrong number and transferred me to “scheduling”. Her interpersonal skills were severely lacking. I have now been on an endless hold.

After 40+ years of ear problems, numerous surgery's and my share of ENT's Dr Whitaker is one of the better ones. I wear a CI and its not easy to find a doctor you feel comfortable with.. He listens to his patients needs and offers all solutions available. He truly cares and it shows. I trust his opinion

Dr. Mark Whitaker preformed the BAHA Bone Anchored Hearing Aid implant on me. He explained the procedure in detail. I am -one day post-op and ave minimal pain.
