A 1994 graduate of Archbishop Hannan High School, Dr. Mark Wightman was born in New Orleans and raised in St. Bernard Parish. As a result, he has a deep connection to and understanding of the St. Bernard community as well as a commitment to the parish’s revitalization.
Dr. Wightman earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1999 before attending the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006. Licensed by the Louisiana State Board, he is a member of the New Orleans Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and fishing. He is an ardent fan of the Saints and Hornets.
