Dr. Mark Bascom Williamson, MD

Dr Williamson done surgery on my back and he done a great job. Very professional, good Christian doctor. He prayed with me before going into surgery. Little scaring.

Doctor Williamson, Roxanne (nurse) and other nurse (sorry don't know her name) were very professional, friendly and easy to talk to. All staff were exceptional. Would highly recommend this practice. I saw him on Monday, surgery on Friday and follow-up 2 weeks later. Never any wait time.

He is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon. I have recommended him to several of my friends and relatives. They just don't come any better

Staff is very nice and friendly however, there are long wait times, no follow-up after care from doctor.

i had surgery on back and it is the same befor surgery,my wife also had sugery and is worst. her right leg is num from need down,and has to walk with a cane. i will never go back to dr wiamson

I felt confident going into surgery with Dr Williamson but after surgery I did not receive the proper after care. Dr Williamson does not explain proper instructions nor does he schedule necessary follow up appointments needed for lumbar surgery. "I performed your surgery I'm sorry there is nothing else I can do for you if you are still in pain" this was my response after repeatedly telling him something wasn't . I would suggest a neuro surgeon for back surgery at a larger facility and please know that after care is very important. You should never be released at 4 weeks after a major spinal surgery.

I arrived to my scheduled appt. on time, completed the required paperwork, and was told to have a seat in the hallway as there was no room in the waiting room. After a short time I was taken into the waiting room. After an hour I was taken into a patient exam room where I waited for one hour and 15 min. At this time I left the exam room still not seeing the Dr. and told the receptionist I was leaving due to the length of time. This person offered no apology or did not ask if I wanted to reschedule; she simply said "o.k." Very unprofessional staff with poor attitude.

I went to Dr. Mark B. Williamson Jr in STATESVILLE today. With hopes of some relief from the back pain, or maybe just a plan on how to get some relief. ! He is by far the absolute WORST doctor I have ever seen. I spent over 2 hours in the waiting room, then when finally being taken back to see the "doctor" waited an additional 30 minutes in the room. He walked in shook my hand, (could tell he was smugly looking down his nose at me) he lifted my shirt glanced at my back then proceeds to tell me that "there was nothing he could do for me". Keep in mind this is without even an exam or anything. He then tells me I should just go to one of those "pain clinics" and he will be glad to give me a referral. Seriously? Why waste my time driving 1.5 hours, all the way to Statesville and wait almost 3 hours for absolutely nothing. THANKS FOR NOTHING Dr. Williamson!!!

I THANK GOD FOR DR.WILLIAMSON .I WENT TO HIM FOR MY BACK PAIN HE GOT STRAIGHT TO THE POINT.HE GOT RID OF MY BACK PAIN THAT I HAD BEEN SUFFERING WITH FOR 5 YRS. HE NURSE ROXESANNE IS THE BEST NURSE I HAVE EVERY MEET. THEY REALLY CARE I WILL CONTINUE TO SEE HIM WHEN EVER I NEED SURGERY IN THE FURTURE
