Dr. Mark Charles Witte, MD

I saw Dr. Witte for some bouts of dizziness that I was having. As an Acoustic Neuroma patient, I am particularly concerned with anything involving my balance. He interviewed me, examined me, and diagnosed my condition (BPPV). Fortunately, the dizzy spells were temporary, and are gone now. I thought Dr. Witte did a great job in listening to me (I was nervous, so I was talking a mile a minute!) After examining me, he explained a few different potential causes for the dizziness, which one he thought was most likely, and why. His explanation was easy to understand. I definitely feel that he spent an adequate amount of time with me, and answered all of my questions before he left the exam room. I would definitely recommend him to another patient.

My fiance has had 2 surgeries. One ear and 8 days ago septum surgery Dr Whitte kept me informed and talked with me after his procedure and each time he was very professional and very kind.. Shaking our hands each time we come to his office at USF. He is the best at all he does.. I highly recommend him

Dr. Witte came across as a used car salesman. I had an appointment for my throat but he spent most of my visit talking about performing surgery on my nose. Even after telling him I wasn't interested, he persisted with the typical "in the future, contact me...etc." Unfortunately, my throat still bothers me and I refuse to go back to a doctor as ignorant as Dr. Witte. I am searching for a new dr.

Dr Witte took the time to listen to my concerns while other doctors just put my daughter on medication he actually found the root of the problem I ultimately I decided to let him remove my daughter's adenoids my daughter used to make a weird noise like she was trying to breathe now that she has healed from the surgery that noise is completely gone she is able to breathe better and has a much better restful night's sleep.

After waiting 45 mins in the exam room for Dr. Witte, he comes in and starts asking me a barrage of questions. Ok, asking questions is a good thing when working on a diagnosis, however, he often cut me off and didn't let me finish my answers. I was seeing Dr. Witte for a certain reason, he didn't notice anything regarding this, so he seemed to disregard my concerns. I have never felt so unimportant as I did with this office visit. I was so upset because of his lack of care for my concerns, I left the office and went to my car and cried. Will not be seeing him again nor recommending him to ANYONE!

Very smart doctor. I took my dad to see him and was very impressed. He took care of my dad's problem and explained everything.

I took my young daughter to see Dr. Witte. He was very kind & patient. Had an excellent bedside manner with her. He diagnosed her condition & performed surgery with complete resolution of the problem. He kept us informed throughout the event. Would highly recommend him!!
