Dr. Mark Garrett Wolf, MD

Dr. Wolf was the physician who read my ultrasound in 2002. It’s been 20 years but I’ll never forget his unprofessional behavior toward me. I was told to get an ultrasound after my regular OBGYN thought I had a uterine fibroid during a routine exam. After the ultrasound technician read my initial ultrasound without disclosing her findings, Dr. Wolf came into the exam room and analyzed the ultrasound images with the technician. He then tells me in an angry and condescending tone that my right ovary is completely obliterated by a large dermoid tumor, and “How could you let it get this large? When was your last exam? How could you be 27 years old and not be getting regular exams?” I was in complete shock and burst into tears having just learned that one of my ovaries is gone, not to mention the realization I could have conception difficulties in the future and/or cancer. Then to add insult to injury, get a judgmental power trip lecture out of this man’s mouth. The look on the… tech’s face was shock too. She felt bad and gently advised that I wash my face in the adjoining bathroom, all the while I could hear him in the ultrasound room go on about what an irresponsible patient I am for not visiting my doctor on a more regular basis. I wish I had reported him then but I was too wrapped up in my own worry about my future. Terrible man, never mind his credentials. I’m not sure why he decided his calling in life is to help women. He certainly sucks at it. (side note: later biopsy confirmed no cancer and I had 2 kids 10 years later)

Very stand offish, horrible bed side manner. Didn't even take the time to introduce himself and spoke to me in a very condescending manner. This is my first pregnancy and my concerns felt that they were completely dismissed by him. Threw his hands in the air when I said I wasn't comfortable with the flu shot and stated "well if you know better than I do". He is NOT going to be my doctor!!

I was in labor with my first child and this doctor INSISTED that I needed a c-section when I did not. He did not listen to me at all. He kept telling me that I needed to accept it. Keep in mind the baby and myself were 100% stable. I ended up delivering vaginally when the next doctor came in and Dr. Wolf left. He did not treat me with any respect or acknowledge my wishes at all. He just wanted to get it over with by performing a c-section instead of letting my body do it's thing.

Dr. Wolf is absolutely the most compassionate doctor there is out there. He spends as much time with you as needed and always follows through with his plan. He has been my doctor for ten years and has performed surgical procedures in order for me to carry my children to full term. Without a doubt, I highly recommend him to all !

DR WOLF IS A GREAT GYNECOLOGIST HE'S JUST AWESOME ,HE MAKES YOU FEEL WANTED .HE IS VERY COMPASSIONATE AND CARINGI WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GOD BLESS YOU.
