Dr. Markus Erb, MD

I might be biased but dr erb isn’t just amazing for saving my boys life he’s amazing for his bedside manner and calming personality. We are so truly lucky to have him in our lives!

my daughter is 17 years of age and she experienced 2 seizures while cheerleading. . we were referred to this place to rule out that it has anything to do with her blood pressure. the doctor did not introduce himself was very short and a little aggravated I might day when I told him the other specialist wanted to see if she needs a tilted table leg of some sort. dr.erb just said that's not happening it's a waste of time... I was stunned that he answered that way without assessing my child first. also my appt was at 11:20 it took the doc about an hour and 15 mins to get in the room. it is still 1:20 and I'm still here... very very unprofessional...

If you have a child with special needs, this is not the place you want to go to. No matter how high functioning your child could be. We went there for the first time today to get my 2.5 year old toddler checked. Firstly, we waited 40 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Dr. Erb seemed very moody, uncommunicative and unprofessional. As soon as he entered the room, he started typing after saying 'hi'. We were not explained anything and I felt horrible because I was really scared for my child. Prior to the EKG, I was asked if my toddler was violent, simply assuming because he is on the spectrum. I was told by Dr. Erb that the EKG would have to be stopped if my toddler was violent before we EVEN started the procedure. My toddler did not display any signs of violence during the visit. My toddler is NOT violent and has never been. He actually seems very mellow and easy going. After Dr. Erb ordered an echocardiogram, we waited for the EKG tech lady for over an hour. I stepped out to see whats… going on and found her to be chatting with coworkers. When she saw me, she said you guys can come in now. I guess if I didnt show myself, we would be waiting another hour. Overall, It was the worst doctors visit I have ever had. I always have a good experience and am not one to complain. I still dont know any of the terminology Dr. Erb briefly mentioned. I will be seeing another pediatric cardiologist to understand what is going on. I do not recommend this doctor or the Newburg office that we went to today. I'd drive a little more and have a professional experience for my child.

Dr Erb is an amazing doctor. He is one of my 5 week old son's cardiologists and as much as I love the others, he is by far my favorite. He is very professional, but also allows you to talk to him on a personal level. He kept in contact with my son's pediatrician so I didn't have to during the stressful time of my son's surgery. He is very kind and caring and I know that he will be a part of my son's life for the many years to come. When he saw my daughter, he was fun, keeping us calm. When he delivered us the bad news of another heart defect my son had, he kept us very relaxed and explained everything so well. He is just great.

Dr. Erb is an extremely competent, caring, and professional Doctor. He repaired a hole in our 4yr old daughter's heart....he was fantastic!

Dr. Erb has been treating my daughter for the past 3+ years and monitoring a issue w/ her aorta. We (Dr. & parents) finally made the decision to intervene w/ surgery. Very happy w/ the outcome & the post surgery follow will be extensive. All options were discuss w/ us prior to any action & we are very please w/ the outcome. Very well trained & great post surgery care.

Dr. Erb has been caring for my daughter Alissa since she was a couple of months old, and we absolutely love him. He always knows who we are even after 10 years, he is such a wonderful man and an excellent doctor.
