Dr. Markus Niederwanger, MD

I was left sitting, alone, in the waiting room for more than an hour past my appt time. No one acknowledged me. I had to ask about the delay and the office staff seemed surprised that I was the only person in the waiting area. Finally, I was taken to a room and left for another 15 minutes. Mind you, the office was quite. By this time, I saw no other patients but did see a group of men sitting together and laughing. I realize there are delays sometimes but the whole appt was handled badly. I left and will find another practice.

After a devastating motorcycle accident in 2018 I endured, yet suffered greatly through many, many surgeries to put me back together again, My acute situation had become increasingly obvious that I urgently needed a very knowledgeable pain management doctor to help me find some way of competently enduring and coping each day, one by one, tolerably enough to withstand the brutal number of various specialized physical therapies for the days, months and years ahead, more than likely. I believe Dr. Niederwanger is deeply committed to my recovery. He takes the time to explain very articulately the "Hows and Why's" of the treatment, so, that I may come to better understand the treatment plan. In concert with an entire coordination of Care Physicians, Nurses, and all those assisting, My Good News is that I am recovering in some way each day. Friends, There is no doubt that Dr. Niederwanger is a serious & hard working physician, extremely intelligent and in my experience very… affable. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to direct even my own mother and dearest friends to Dr. Niederwanger, because I know that they will be appropriately cared for. Probably, from my point of view, the thing that impresses me the most is that he does his homework before walking into my appointments. It is self evident that Dr. Niederwanger "Reads", (an intellectual quality embraced by Dr. Niederwanger. A quality embraced, at a time when this quality is lacking in way too many others practicing medicine) and is prepared for our visit. I'm mightily blessed to have the medical team that I've got, because I know each of them are doing their part. I give credit where and when it is due. Dr. Niederwanger is working and has worked hard to provide for me the opportunity to once again return to a quality of life to be Celebrated. I hope that no one shall need post-surgical or chronic pain management. But if you do, give Dr. Niederwanger a Call. He has earned my confidence. Excellent doctor, one of the best I have ever seen

I have been seeing this dr for my back pain of 3 years MRI shows annular tear. He has givin me 2 shots. I am worse now than I was he will not give you anything for pain. In my opinion he is a terrible doctor. I am truly in pain. So why does he keep saying there is nothing more he can do. Isn't he a specialist? This pain is driving me crazy.

A pain management Doctor that won't help with your pain. I am confused why he is a pain management doctor when I left his office with no solution every time. He did not care that I was in pain and never wanted to write me a prescription to help. I had to just lay in bed and cry because the pain was so bad. This is the worst Dr. I have ever seen. I feel bad for his patients if they are being treated like he treated me.

Extremely punctual. Very competent. Quickly diagnosed my problem and took care of it. Office staff were also very pleasant.
