Meet Dr. Niepraschk
Orthodontics gives me the ability to not only create beautiful smiles, but make a positive impact on patients’ lives through improved self-esteem, confidence, and bite function. I love the combination of art and science that the field of orthodontics provides. Every day I draw on my artistic ability to envision and create, while also using critical thinking and science to determine the proper treatment. As a perfectionist, I enjoy the details of creating a beautiful smile with optimal function. Working with adults, kids, and families is a wonderful link between clinical excellence and professional and personal satisfaction.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating summa cum laude and first in my class. I was also inducted into the honorary dental society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. I continued …on to Marquette University where I received my Master of Science degree and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics.
As an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, I attend many classes and lectures to sharpen my skills and learn about new technology and trends in the orthodontic field. I am also a member of the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club where, along with other like-minded orthodontists, I can share knowledge and improve my overall quality of treatment and patients’ experience.
Outside the Office
I am a native of Virginia and am proud to practice orthodonitcs in Leesburg. My wife, Emily, and I have three young and energetic children, Mark, Amelia, and Adeline, who I love spending time with. Outside of the office, I enjoy camping, soccer, skiing, photography, and traveling. I have been a youth soccer coach and look forward to coaching my own children’s soccer teams. I’m also a roller coaster junky and can’t let a summer go by without a trip to Busch Gardens!
