Dr. Markus Opel, MD

Dr. Opel is habitually late to his appointments and has seemingly made no attempt to remedy this problem. I was a patient of Dr. Opel’s for approximately 30 years, and he was late the majority of the time. April of 2025 he was 30 minutes late for his appointment with me and when he got into the room, he "like always" apologized for being late, so I addressed it with him stating that he was 30 minutes late and that was not acceptable. Dr. Opel stated that he had lives that depended on him and that if I needed extra time, he would make other patients wait to care for me. I responded by saying that is not ok to make people wait without notice. I told him that I also am a professional and that I make appointment routinely and that I am da*n sure there on time or early as that is what professional people to and that it was not acceptable to be late and not even send in a nurse to inform the patient. I then said that time is money, and he has waisted my time and it was costing me money. Dr.… Opel responded by saying it had nothing to do with money it had to do with patients. I responded by saying that it certainly had to do with money for me since I was not being paid while sitting in his office waiting for him. Dr. Opel then said that he did not have to be treated this way and that he would no longer serve me as a patient. Dr. Opel said he would send me a letter terminating me as a patient and I was ok with that. I left his office without incident. Dr. Opel sent me his letter, and he not only terminated me as a patient of his but of the clinic in its entirety. This feels very much like a god complex and an irrational decision for being called out on being late.

I am very fortunate to have Dr. Opel as my doctor. He's incredibly friendly and truly cares and makes sure to address all of my concerns and makes sure I understand what's going on. He's my #1 choice and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Dr Opel is a amazing caring Doctor,he never leaves a stone unturned,and will be there whenever you need him.I have been with Dr Opel now since he started at the clinic.and would never go anywere else.

I have been with this Doctor since he started his practice in 1997, in all of my dealngd with him he has never been late and never misdiognsed a problem. In a hospital setting he is the perfect doctor, he gets it right the first time and believes in the bodys natures healing properties. If paind medicacations are needed he give enought to get over any trama without over doing it, his knoledge is cutting edge and he does not believe in any proceedure that is not needed. e listens to all complaints and does the required tests he believes that are needed to get you back to normal. If your looking for a doctor who just prescribes medicine or does uneended operations this is not the doctor for you. He his kind he listens an takes test and gives you the the best options to use and he cars for you like you were his brother. I have never seen a doctor as good as this one.
