Dr. Marla W Dudak, MD

After waiting for over 3 hours even having an appointment (mind you people who had later appointments were entering before me); I saw the doctor. She was so rude, zero bedside manners, made ironic comments and did not answer any of my questions. Even after I asked her more than once for some answers and feedback, she continue to treat me like If I was an idiot and dismissed my questions. She left the room after less than 5 minutes and left me perplexed, tired and shocked on how can someone like that be a doctor and care for patients. I am never going back there and would advise anyone against seeing her; unless you like to be treated like trash.

I am an RN that had worked in the hospital setting with Dr. Dudak in the past and had referred many patients to her over the years. Six months ago I had an abnormal mammogram that warranted a biopsy that resulted in a breast cancer diagnosis. I first thought of Dr. Dudak for my care. Dr. Dudak was truly amazing and helped me through every step of the process, from biopsy, surgery and next steps. She always took time to answer my questions and was patient and kind in her mannerism. She is also very up to speed on the most current treatment regimens. Her staff also were also on point with the scheduling of all of my care throughout this process.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marla Dudak for over 15 years for high-risk breast screening and recent surgery. I have always found her an outstanding physician in every way. Her professional expertise and experience is top rate and very reassurring when you are a nervous patient. She is very thorough and always takes the time to explain issues well and answer questions. Additionally, I have found her entire staff to be extremely efficient and professional at all times. I would unequivocally and without hesitation highly recommend Dr. Marla Dudak.

Didn’t even get to see Dr. Dudak, the receptionist guy in front was sooo unprofessional and rude, no customer service manners, I walk out the office requesting all my papers back. I had a bad vibe when I walked in. Now to read about the doctor and staffs, I am glad I did walk out. When you go to a doctor’s office, it’s because you’re sick and you have too much in your mind worried to get these kinds of obnoxious treatments. Run from that office.

About 12 yrs. ago, I was referred to Marla Dudak for an ultrasound guided biopsy. While performing the biopsy, Dr. Dudak looked away from me and all of a sudden I couldn't breathe and blood poured through the incision all over my chest. I was waving my hands for help and then she finally stopped and I was able to breathe again. Scariest 30 seconds of my life. Found out I had a pneumothorax after doing research and speaking with other doctors. She never called 911 but instead told me to go home and rest. I unfortunately had to come back for results where I was met with the same apathetic iciness. Approx. 6-8 wks. later the bill (my ins. did pay a good chunk from what I recall) arrived adding insult to injury. She lacks any compassion and imho should not be in this field. Since then I have had another biopsy but in the capable and compassionate hands of the Women's Center at BRRH. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I had genetic testing with Dr. Dudak and have been calling trying to get my results. I ended up having to go through the genetic testing company itself because I couldn't seem to get in contact with anyone from her office for over two months. Once I got the results from the lab, I found that they were different from what she had said in the voicemail she had left me. I will not be going back to Dr. Dudak, even if she is still in practice.

No compassion. When a person needs to go to a specialist you need someone who cares or at least acts like they do. She is pure ice. Blurts out random information with no explanation and than runs out. Her staff is just as unprofessional. Not one part of my experience with this office was positive!

Had appointment to interview Dr for a prophylactic double mastectomy. Had written MRI dates 1 month ago yet Dr refused to see me without a CD. Report clearly showed clean yet Dr wouldn’t even meet me to find out what my story was and what I needed from her. Receptionist and staff were rube and overall a terrible Experience!

My name is Nancy I was first diagnosed in 1995 in Rochester New York and had the best doctors Were at the time of my diagnosis. In 1996 I moved to South Florida after 9 years for my first diagnosis I knew that the breast cancer had returned on the same side as the first breast cancer I went to see Marla dudak when she approached me in the examining room she asked me what I was there for and I told her that I believed I had breast cancer once again after nine years of being clean she told me quote unquote you always fabricate this go see a psychiatrist well I was devastated that is not what I expected to hear very very bad bedside manner so the next day I flew to Tampa to the Moffitt Cancer Center where I was diagnosed with breast cancer once again the best cancer was located in the center of my right breast the first time it was on the right wall of my right breast I could not deal with the second time but I knew cuz I know my body very well I am very up on my health that it had… returned if I had listened to her I would probably not be here writing this today I do not understand why these doctors offices she is the first name they refer for a breast surgeon from what I'm reading on her portal she is a general surgeon that does not even State breast surgeon the unknown is the worst so I felt it I need to put this out there for all of you who are going through what I've been through I am now going to be a 15-year Survivor second time around being diagnosed I did go back home to Rochester New York and my doctors removed both breast and today I have a clear piece of mind and no more worries when I had the breast removed I was not a candidate for implants which I did not want to put myself through all that pain I had what they call today a tranflap Fortune valve stem removing the tissue from my stomach taking the nerve endings putting the tissue in my boss and reattaching the nerve endings in my breast I am a whole person once again and never have to worry about breast cancer again I don't even have studies anymore I do see my oncologist once a year just to be sure all is well. I hope that this information can give you some clearance in a better Outlook before choosing Dr Marla dudak God bless you all.
