Dr. Marla Loren Torres-Torres, MD

I have been trying to get ahold of Dr Torres for the last three weeks by phone. Her secretaries have told me that all I need to do is call in the morning and usually around 5pm she will return my call. Today I waited for a total of 25min on 3 different calls to her office, the last one they kept me online until 5:30 and then disconnected the line. Then her secretary told me I could see the Doctor next Tuesday and four times I told her I was flying Tuesday to Switzerland that I had a simple question and could the doctor, as indicated was possible, please pick up the phone for 2 minutes. Dr. Torres, prescribed nitroglycerin to treat an anal fissure and two months after I have stopped taking the drug, I continue to experience numbness in my limbs. I never experienced numbness and this occurs within 5 min of putting a foot on a leg, not even crossing my legs. I would like to know why this happens. While on the drug my symptoms were far worse, way beyond the headaches described, I… had lightheadedness, fell, and had a hard time driving. Limbs would go so numb that after sitting for a few moments with legs crossed, I had to lift my leg with my hands to uncross them and get them "back with feeling" or more appropriately, for circulation to return. I was told by Torres and my GP that the numbness should go away within a few weeks of stopping Nitroglycerin. This has not been my experience. I am only trying to get her to help me find the path back to the normal experience of my body.
