I am so happy to have recently found Dr. Aking. I have always been an anxious and obsessive person, but I thought it was normal--that that's just how I am and I didn't realize how it has held me back in so many ways. It wasn't until I was laid off from my job and the job process has been so difficult, it's been a year of constant let down that I realized I was starting to live in a 24/7 state of panic and anxiety. The only relief I felt was closing my eyes and just fading away from it all. Meditations and my bi-weekly therapy was not working for me the way that it used to and I realized I needed to seek help and find other options. When I found Dr. Aking, I trusted her knowledge and expertise and the past few months of her guidance and proper medication have changed my spirit and life around. I finallyyyyyy feel relief and am not operating in a state of panic and anxiety. While I still have daily/life stressors, it is much more manageable and I feel like I can operate with clarity and… clearness. Working with her has truly helped me overcome things I thought were "normal", but were so detrimental to my everyday living and quality of life and happiness. I highly recommend her for psychiatric and mental health needs.
