Dr. Kleinman is a professional in every way.

I cannot rave enough about Dr Kleinman and all the staff at the Morton Grove City of Hope location.

Dr Kleinman saved my life. He is a consummate professional- kind, compassionate and a great communicator. He works hard to get the latest research and has great instincts for when changes in my treatment are needed. He's the best doctor I've ever known.

Doctors as well as nurses speak, or try to speak so that lay people understand which is an issue as I do not understand all that is said. I try but it gets difficult at times

While I have been a patient for years, I'm not sure why I don't find another physician. My problem is a chronic one; I am told I'm being "managed"; for blood work results there have been times I have waited 3 hours to be told for a 5 minute exam that consisted of a doctor looking at a computer screen for 4 of those minutes that he'll see me in 6 months for more blood work, for right now, I'm being monitored. The front desk is tricky - they get your office visit money up front. I have walked out without seeing the doctor because I've waited over 3 hours. The nurses have always been professional and friendly - can't complain. I would just like to be treated like a patient, for once - not a lab result on a computer screen. Ask me a question - ask me how I feel, ask me if there's an issue or anything I would like to discuss. If I tell you I'm fatigued, don't respond by saying "of course you are, your labs show it". Why do I bother to go in if you have all the answers on your… computer?

I've been a patient of Dr. Kleinman since he completed his internship with Dr, Green some thirty years ago. He is a consciousnesses and compassionate individual. Very thorough in his explanation of the diagnosed condition and treatment required. However, in the past ten years the administrative and nursing staff that has been employed to administer the doctors orders have been progressively getting worse. The communication between nursing staff and administration has been ineffective to say the least. For example, a nurse contacts the patient and gives instruction that doctor has requested the patient follow through on. Upon the patients completion of the instruction given by the nurse on behalf of the doctor, is radio silence. The patient contacts the doctors office to follow up on results and further information. Then another administrator or nurse will contact the patient and give the original doctors instruction again. Meaning the patients file has not been updated or communicated… to the other staff members involved with the patients file. This is unacceptable, for that reason this patient will be seeking a referral from Dr. Kleinman to another physician.

Terrible person should not be practicing he is a fraud...

He told me to come on for extensive blood test. When I saw all the vials, I was unnerved but the nurse reassured me and did a great job with no discomfort getting all the blood she needed and she offered me an apple juice afterwards. She told me I could sit there as long as I felt I needed to and to tell her if I felt dizzy or weak. I was fine afterwards. The nurse knew how to take blood without causing a bruise which is what happened to my husband at Lutheran General Hospital years ago. I've had bruising at other doctor's offices years ago but no problem here.

Dr. Kleinman has taken care of my father for several years. He always addresses our concerns and explains the facts in a sensitive and thorough manner. We feel fortunate to have such a caring and compassionate doctor taking care of our dad.

He is the greatest Doctor I know. He is patient, kind, funny, caring and very helpful me and my family. He knows what he is doing and trust him greatly.
