Marly Dows-Martinez

First time visiting, I think I am on the right track. .. awesome

Dr. Dows-Martinez has always taken the time to actually listen and work with me to determine the best maintenance treatment for me (instead of lumping me in to a “ category” based on age or gender). The times when i am having problems and I need to see her quickly her staff manages to fit me in.

She very patient and caring doctor. She listens to you. Very attentive to your needs. Give great advice about your after care

Dr. Dows-Martinez was wonderful. Love her personality. Great bedside manner, really listens to you and gives you her total attention.

Dr Dows-Martinez always listens to exactly what is bothering you. She explains everything thoroughly and why you are having that pain.

Personable, compassionate, and easy to speak with. Dr. Dows-Martinez is the only physician ( that I see) that takes time to get to really know her patients. Whenever my appointment is over I feel as if I have the answers to all of my questions as well as a solution has been achieved. Her explanations are spoken in terms that the lay person can understand. Her time and compassion are what I appreciate most about her.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again- my career is credentialing providers. Basically what I do is fact check everything anyone sends me and make sure they are qualified and quality care providers, that leaves me being very picky on who I allow to treat me. Dr. Dows-Martinez and her nurse/MA (not sure exactly her credentials) Kelci are second to none. I, unfortunately have genetics passed down to me that have caused back issues at a young age. Dr. Dows-Martinez and Kelci have treated me for a few years. When I do have an appointment or an issue they listen attentively, they want me to live a normal pain free life and it’s like visiting with friends. I can speak honestly and openly with them. Dr. Dows-Martinez remembers personal things I’ve shared with her and will always ask about them. Back/spine/nerve issues is a scary condition to trust anyone to treat, but Dr. Dows-Martinez is honestly the one I trust. I appreciate them very much! She literally has my back (pun totally… intended)!

I think she listened and understood how I felt. She provided me with the opportunity to be pain tolerant and a direction with PT to help with a pathway to keep me from surgery or medications for the rest of my life.
