I have been dealing with an ongoing health issue for about a year. My previous infectious disease doctor was dismissive of my concerns and demonstrated little to no interest in determining the cause of my health issues. I met Dr. Rosenthal during a hospital stay and was impressed with the compassionate and caring manner in which she listened to me and helped me develop a course of action. Immediately, I became her patient, and I continue to be impressed with her generosity of time and her dedication to my overall health. She is the only infectious disease specialist I would recommend without reservation. We need more doctors like her.

It isn't every day that a physician restores your faith in the medical field and hospital care, but Dr. Rosenthal made that happen. I wouldn't hesitate sending any member of my family to her. Intelligent, engaging, and kind-hearted.

For weeks I was short of breath, tired, and my heart was racing. My family doctor and cardiologist told me I either had "atypical asthma" or was "having panic attacks". After a thorough and detailed exam and testing she carefully and compassionately explained to me and my husband, Dr. Rosenthal confirmed what her initial diagnosis of my problem was: myocarditis. I am actually writing this from my hospital bed. I had to record my thoughts on what I believe was the most wonderful visit I have ever had with any doctor in my life. I just spent the last 40 minutes with Dr. Rosenthal. I have gone to the best and most highly rated medical facilities on the east coast, and have never undergone such a thorough and complete exam and interview or been educated and guided in such a kind and ethical manner in my life. We need more smart, kind and assertive physicians in this world, especially women!
