Dr. Marse Lawrence Mcnaughton, MD

Very poor quality of medicine. Full physical exams not performed at each visit, routine bloodwork was not ordered until almost 1 year of being under his care. Does not take the time to stop and listen to patients; interrupts often. Do not recommend.

.in 2011 told him I had been exposed to hepatitis and needed to be checked. He said I was fine. Few yrs ago liver enzymes kept increasing and for about 2 yrs pleased to order the tests and he wouldn't. Finally changed drs and within 2wks tested positive for hep c. Very negligent

at times he is rushed but really cares about patient

i was told i was going to die in 24 hrs. marse came and personally visited me in my room. i had a back surgery by a specialist, i didnt even call him, he was there as i was going into surgery. he had no qualms about givin me the tough luv i deserved when i didnt follow doctors orders. i owe this guy my life more than once..

first things first, the only reason the wait is so long, is I normally go in as a walk in patient, so I get fit in when he can see me... I have had Dr. McNaughton as my doctor for over 30 years now, and in my opinion, he is a very caring and intelligent man. He remembers all of my problems which are many. Yes, the building is old, but it makes it feel like a country doctors place which I find calming. He does come up with diagnoses quickly, and I have even gone to the point of going somewhere else to see what the other doctor would say, only to find the other docs always came up with the same diagnosis'. The man is funny, careing, smart, thoughtful, and just plain awesome. I'll stay with him as long as he remains in practice...

I've been seeing Dr.Mcnaughton for 16 years now. Over time he has become more rude to his patients. He'll say certain comments to you that are pretty hurtful. One time after I had my son I went in because I couldn't stop throwing up. He looked at me and said if anything I should be happy because I needed to lose a few more pounds. You can hear him talking to the patients in the other rooms which is very uneasy at times. For the most part I love his staff their down to earth and are really funny. His office is very out dated, the rooms are old and the same wall paper has been on those walls since I was a child. You always feel rushed by him. He gets snappy a lot as well. I only see him if it absolutely last resort. I have seen many patients walk away angry. Which I totally understand. He needs too bring his attitude down and do some self reflection.

The doctor requires monthly visits to get prescriptions. The same prescription I have been taking for more than 10 years. MAtbe he should come into the 21st century
