Emig Review I’ve read through the reviews and can’t speak for everyone else’s experience with Dr. Emig. My appointment was as breezy as any bilateral EMG can be. He is a very confident professional. Dr. Emig made the EMG more bearable by sharing pleasant conversation about his medical journey and outdoor hobbies. He showed interest in me as a patient and was seemingly patient. He isn’t shy. He was very knowledgeable. The only question I have is ...where did the nerve damage go? I’ve been told I’d had axon all loss, chronic polyradiculopathy, mono neuropathy, brachial plexopathy and ulnar nerve entrapment at least by 5+ other neuros. I received the excellent news that my EMG was completely normal. This comes as a pleasant surprise and on the heels of a few other somewhat contradictory, yet abnormal EMG’s, all from qualified neurologists. I am really hoping that the EMG results are truly normal. I feel very optimistic! I hope this is answered prayer and my nerves have healed up!… I’m still in pain and I may not feel like the nerves have healed, still I hope that is the case.

Marshall Emig MD at UC Health Aurora is one of the worst I have ever seen as far as bedside manner. He has major mood swings and is rude when he is in a bad mood. He is not at all compassionate and rushes you through the appt. I think he would love all his appountments to be five minutes so he would only have to deal with people as little as possible. I think he is in the wrong field. I hope he changes fields or gets himself some help. Pleople with back issues and chronic pain deserve better!

Very rude and angry

Completely incompetent. Emig couldn't perform a nerve test properly therefore told me my condition was all in my head and due to the stress of my job so I should quit. Luckily I went for a 2nd opinion and my TOS was confirmed by a Dr who could perform a nerve test and after 1 appt I was cured. I'm so sorry I wasted a year being degraded and belittled by Emig. He has zero compassion and has an ego problem.

Dr. Emig is very personable, professional, and reassuring. He is also very good at his job. I feel safe under his care and know that he takes my pain management very seriously. I can tell that his team really enjoys working with him, which also speaks volumes.

I can't say enough about Dr. Emig. He was caring, thorough, and referred me to a physical therapist who specializes in scoliosis. I didn't know there was help of any kind for this. I am currently in therapy with her and it is changing my life. I am so grateful.

Rude does not listen and obvious he could care less about what you feel or say. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. My last visit sat in room after being called back for like 45 min.

This guy is so good. he got me back to action in 4 weeks after a nasty herniated disc.
