Dr. Marshall Meier

Very professional and welcoming.,I was of course very anxious and all of,the staff went out of their way to,help with the anxiety. I now feel less anxious of the next injection.

I was refered to this doctor at Bone & Joint after one meeting with the spine doctor who wanted to try conservative treatment. After several months and several serious new symptoms he stareted to get an attitude with me after doing a walk in for severe spinal pain with pinched nerves. He scolded me durring my last two visits for "coming in too often" yet it was only when I had serious new symptoms. I was juggled around for 6+ months doing PT and seeing him and his practitioner that kept interpreting the notes in my chart incorrectly. I finally asked when I could see the Spine Surgeon to address all my new issues, and Dr. Meier refused to consider referring me back to the spine specialist and tried to undermine what my prior doctor had told me about the severity if my condition. The politics of this office are terrible and I would never recommend this office or this doctor to anyone suffering with a serious condition only to get the runarounds and a bad attitude.

I cannot say it strongly enough. This man should not be a doctor and if you value your health stay away from him and the facility he works at Flagstaff Bone and Joint. I have had multiple bad experiences with him and other doctors in that office. I went in with a recommendation from my DOCTOR of physical therapy to have imaging on my neck done. I should have walked out my first visit when he cut me off from talking about a symptom and literally said while waving his hand "Yeah yeah yeah, you have a thing". Are you serious? Despite three herniated cervical disc, one of which was touching the spinal cord, he offered nothing in the way of treatment over the next several months. When things kept getting worse and more imaging revealed a rare (as defined by the CDC, just google syrinx) spinal cord condition he told me he sees that condition "All the time". In the end I lost my job, lost the ability to live my life, and never once even recieved an injection for the herniated disc. He… refused to listen to other doctors on my team and thinks he is the smartest guy on earth. He is lucky my health is more important to me than sueing him till he works at Taco Bell. Seriously STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't listen. I walked out and requested to not be charged. The staff agreed.

He only got one star for the sheer fact that zero is not an option! Absolute worst experience of my life! Dr Meier was condescending, rude and accusatory without asking one question about my history! He had no interest in getting to know who he was treating and how he could help! Made inaccurate judgements about my character and made me feel insignificant! Not 1 minute into our visit he told me my life long debilitating disease is "hopeless" (his words not mine)! And when that caused me to shut down and get tears in my eyes, he based his most hurtful accusation of me due to my "behavior" I was exhibiting there!! He did not ask me why I was so upset! He made some very inaccurate conclusions about me! I have never seen such a blatant disregard for another human beings feelings as he displayed at my first (and absolutely last) appointment. I went to him in hopes of getting some help to find some alternative therapies that I could try to treat my disorder and instead he made things worse!… I would never never NEVER recommend him to anyone unless you want to be bullied and intimidated by a person who is supposed to "do no harm"!
