Dr. Marshall Brian Plotka, MD

Dr.Plotka and his staff are wonderful! The are patient to listen to you. Yes you may have to wait some but this happens with any great doctor. My husband and I have had major health problems. My problems were not found till I started using Dr. Plotka. The nurse practitioner Kayla and Andrea are great. Highly recommend using them!!

Dr. Plotka has always been a wonderful listener to all I have been through an all the MEDS I have taken an what helps me an what DOES NOT. MY ISSUES HAVE GOTTEN WORSE SINCE MY HUSBANDS DEATH WHICH HE WAS HIS PAITEINT TO BUT HE HAD CANCER. HAVE BEEN IN A ROLLER COASTER SINCE THEN WITH MY MEDS SO I WENT AN TO SEE IF MY ISSUES HAD GOTTEN WORSE FROM HAVING MRI AN X-RAYS AN THEY WANTED TO DO SURGERY BUT TO MANY UNSUCCESSFUL SURGERIES WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE GOING ON BUT THE SPINE CENTER SHOWED IT WAS NOT MENTAL AN HAVE SO MUCH MORE ON ME THAN BEFORE. JUST GLAD DR PLOTKA IS BACK. WAS ON THE SAME MEDS FOR 12 years an to me that's what my goal is to get back to what I know what works for ME.

My experience at phoenix emergency care was not good at all. I went there on a Saturday. I have a little baby so I went right away when they opened to get in and out. They opened at 10:00. I was the only one there until a second patient came at 11:00. At 12:00, the doctor still hasn't shown up for work. He kept telling his staff that he was on his way but I got the impression from them that he does this all the time. Once he got there at about 12:15, he gave me what I needed. I will not go here again. The office was also dirty and run down.

I gave him one star only because there is nothing lower. Dr. Plotka is very nice, but the wait time is horrendous. I would not go back to him at all. We had an appt. time and waited three hours after the appt. to be seen. When I complained to staff, they were completely indifferent, despite the fact I had a child coughing violently for 3 hours. Only when I threatened to leave did the doctor see my child.

My honest evaluation is that once you become a patient at Phoenix, you will be looking for a new doctor. Although Dr Plotka is very nice, he and his staff are ambivalent to patients time and money. Their staff demand all money up front and purposely give drug screenings that are not covered by your insurance. These inexpensive tests cost 165.00 and they sometimes make patients take them on consecutive months. Blue cross will cover screenings if they are sent to a qualified lab but Phoenix insists on giving their own. If you do not pay this in full, you can not have your prescriptions.
