Dr. Marshall Alexander Staton, MD

My first visit in 1992, he told me to buy The Anxiety Disease book. In 6 weeks, with medicine prescribed , I felt the joy of life return. In 2007my local MD took over my prescription until he retired. His nurse practitioner replacement said I was a drug addict . I went into panic attacks ,and called Dr. Staton 4 times begging him to let me return. He was not taking new patients, He relented ,and I quit the practitioner,reported her, but 2 more of my friends have had the same experience with her. I am 73 and not a drug addict ,but have a treatable disease called panic disorder. If that practitioner ever gets mental health education,she could help these diseases of the mind. I love Dr. and Mrs. Staton ,and I owe them 10 stars for saving my life.Patty

I actually enjoy my appointments with Dr. Staton! He's always punctual, kind and efficient. His receptionist is incredibly sweet and always helpful.

This doctor cares only about how much time he spends with you. If you were in the middle of a story of how traumatized you were when you witnessed the Kennedy shooting, in person, he'd look over your head, where he keeps the clock, and as you were telling him about the Book Depository he would say, "Time's Up, see you next week." No conversation, no curiosity, no empathy...I would never, ever recommend him to anyone.

I had been to therapists many times, but no one helped like Dr. Staton. He was amazing and I liked him and his receptionist also. I will never forget what he did for me.
