Dr. Marta Gielarowiec

Dr. Marta Gielarowiec earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from the Long Island Au.D. Consortium—Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s Universities—and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from St. John’s University. Her clinical background includes working with a diverse patient population across ear, nose, and throat clinics, private practices, and hospitals throughout the New York City area. Her clinical interests encompass behavioral and electrophysiological hearing assessment as well as the management of hearing loss through amplification and comprehensive hearing rehabilitation.

Dr. Gielarowiec is deeply patient-centered in her approach; she believes everyone deserves the opportunity to hear and strives to treat each patient as family. She is committed to helping individuals achieve their highest communication potential and values building lasting relationships with her patients. By understanding each person’s life experiences and lifestyle, she ensures …care plans are tailored and effective for long-term hearing and communication success.

Throughout her career she has pursued humanitarian audiology, including work in Trinidad and Tobago fitting hearing devices for those in need—an experience that reinforced her view that hearing is a transformative gift. Dr. Gielarowiec holds certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in New York State as a clinical and dispensing audiologist. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys traveling, volunteering in her community, and spending time with family.
