This doctor was very rough with my newborn and rude. When she came into the hospital room her greeting was not welcoming. She took my newborn clothes off roughly while talking to me and my husband about the baby. She was really vague about what she was talking about. We both sense that she didn't like her job or doesn't care to communicate with us. While she continued her assessment, she was handling the baby very roughly. We had to say something, then her response was these babies can't really feel anything. She also was coughing then touching the baby saying she's not sick its just allergies. After whatever she called an assessment she said you can put her clothes back on and left. I was about to kicker out the room anyway. Out of all the nurses and doctors at the hospital that i've seen she's the worse and I don't understand why they have her at such a great Hospital with great service. I know other persons that have complained about her too and its sad that a children healthcare… provider can have these characteristics. I honestly don't leave reviews, but I had to because of such an unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I hope this review is helpful for other parents. I do not recommend her to anyone. If she's the pediatrician on call at the hospital, ask the hospital to see someone else or other options.

Did not like her service at all, she was rough with my daughter, she never called back to let me know the blood results, she was expeditive and made us feel inferior.

So I regret trying out this practice (pediatrics of central Florida) with was different from my other children’s pediatrician (Dr. Magarino at Nemour’s primary care in celebration). The reason I thought I would try them is because of there separate well/sick waiting rooms and it was closer to my house. I came to her for my baby’s 3 day visit. This is my third baby to exclusively nurse. By the way I’m also an NP and IBCLC. Baby st this visit was just around discharge weight, milk had come in, was feeding well, and having tons of diapers. This doctor thought she looked jaundice and wanted her level rechecked. On hospital discharge it as 8.2 at 44 hr which is low intermediate risk so no further follow up really needed. I went ahead and went with having it rechecked, results 12.8 at 72 hrs of age (still low intermediate risk). She offered me some formula samples “just in case” at this visit which I declined without even mentioned pumping and giving expressed breastmilk if needed. This… should have been my first red flag; I should have switched then! Supplementation not medically indicated! Most peds would have just stopped there with the bili lab as it’s fine for her age! But no she insisted I have it rechecked again and it was 13.6 at 102 hrs of age (bilirubin normally continues to go up). This was still low risk. Also my daughter born at 39 weeks did not have any more risk factors for severe jaundice (no ABO incapability, no prematurity, no illness, no family hx liver disease, and nursing well). At this visit baby had also gained 2 oz from the day prior! She had her nurse called me with the results saying that I needed to supplement with formula because my milk wasn’t giving her what she needed. Really this was normal physiological jaundice in low risk zone (she would have had to had a level of 20 at this day of age to need bili lights!), feeding well, gaining weight, and having tons of wet and dirty diapers! I asked to speak to the doctor who just said this is what they do and that she wanted me to have lab done at the hospital to measure direct bili also. I was starting to think this is absolutely ridiculous and the last straw! I asked another pediatrician who I knows opinion on this situation and she said it was not evidence based at all and that she wouldn’t have rechecked the bili at 12.8 at 72 hrs. I made an appointment with my kids pediatrician who her exact words were “why are we chasing bilirubins?”. So to summarize this pediatrician doesn’t follow guidelines, pushes formula, and also has poor bedside manner (stares at the computer 75% of the time during our first visit). Beware if you want to exclusively breastfeed!! Infant imagine if this was my first baby and I didn’t know better! Thankfully I’m an educated person and this is my third baby to nurse!

The worst pediatrician I ever seen Bad service the worst attitude she doesn’t not care about the children

This doctor has a horrible bedside manner. She was also seeing patients while she was sick and was breathing all over the children.

The best pediatrician!!!! Would not trade her for one else..simply the best..my child is super excited to visit with her..he won't see no one else Very friendly,listens and spends time with you

she is simply one of the best out of pediatrics of central Fl... her diagnosis are always accurate she is very friendly too ........ she spends alot of time explaining things and listens to what was happening with my child
