Dr Marta Sovilj, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Sovilj for 20 years, and she has consistently been exceptional. She is always very thorough during appointments, clearly explains diagnoses, and walks me through treatment plans. She does an amazing job remembering past conversations, diagnoses, and injuries, and thoughtfully considers how they impact my current care. Because of this, I find I have to advocate for myself much less than at other medical offices, which means a great deal to me. She is patient with my questions and always takes the time to address my concerns. She is also very punctual, keeping appointments on schedule, and I never feel rushed or unheard. I truly feel I receive personalized care, which is rare these days.

There is no more exceptional physician than Marta Sovilj. When our previous Internal Medicine doctor was leaving we asked her: "if this was your parents, who would you recommend", And she said without hesitation: "the only doctor I would recommend is Dr. Sovilj!" Dr. Sovilj is meticulous in her care, her communication, her attention to detail and her responsiveness. In addition, Dr. Sovilj will go the extra mile to not only make a specialist referral, but make sure it is the absolute best specialist and she will personally call to expedite the process. My wife and I feel very lucky to be under her care, and I personally attribute the quality of health I currently have to the quality of care Dr. Sovilj provides.

Dr. Sovilj- I’ve been seeing her since 2001. She addresses each question I bring up, runs tests (good referrals). I’m always satisfied and never left wondering. I’ve never heard her belittle my concerns, saying, “Oh it’s nothing.” She’s a good internist!

Dr Sovilj has been my primary physician for many years. She has her own style of addressing my concerns. I appreciate that she is efficient. She hears every word and circles back to question my concerns. Physicians have limited time to get the whole picture of a patient’s health. Dr Sovilj digs a little deeper on things I didn’t realize could be serious. I appreciate her referrals; she genuinely finds the best doctor available for me. All have been very good. I don’t have any negatives to report. I am very lucky to have such a good physician.

As for my experience Dr. Sovilij has always found time for any issue I may have. She arranges testing and appointments with specialists and treatments within a couple of weeks. She is very thorough. Dr. Sovilj takes has great 'bedside manner' and meets my need to have lab and test results explained in a straight forward, clear manner. She always allows time for questions. She personalizes each appointment.

As a board certified internal medicine physican she has been our primary care provider referring us as needed to specialists. These specialists always comment on what a competent and dedicated physician she as as well as being a strong advocate for her patients.
