The most memorable thing I'll remember about the 23rd McAllen location of Dr Samuel is how they let my sick 7 year old daughter, burning up, brought straight from school to be seen sit nearly 2 hours before she was taken in to be seen. The receptionist did not know how important it was for a fever (101.78 when I got there) to be taken care of before three children who were waiting for just a normal "checkup" not sick.... I repeatedly told her I need her to be seen, how long, and if she could give a sample of Ibuprofen or Tylenol at least to get her raising fever down. It got up to 103.4 while in the lobby. IT was extremely dirty, in bathroom and lobby. No paper towels, the floors hadn't been mopped in what it looked like, in forever. It was a very bad experience and was literally going to call 911 for my child to be taken to the hospital cause that was going nowhere for me.
