Dr Martha Catalfamo
I am a native of upstate NY. I grew up in Hudson Falls, a small town near Lake George, one of five children. I spent many hours swimming, hiking, and ice skating and feel right at home when near a big, beautiful lake.
My undergraduate education was at Union College in Schenectady. I received my training in dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania graduating in the top 15 of my dental class of 160. I was awarded my DMD in 1979 and then completed a general practice residency at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY.
I have been in private practice for more than 25 years, working as an associate dentist in Schenectady and Elmira NY. I also directed dental services at the Gossett Center in Lansing, from 1994 to 2008, focusing on adolescent dentistry. Â I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the NYS Dental Association, the Sixth District Dental Society and the Tompkins County Dental Society. I participate in …continuing education training in all areas of general dentistry.
My husband Jim and I live in Trumansburg. We have three grown sons, James, Stephen, and Peter.  We are very happy that our family has new members- Amy (James’ wife) and our one year old grandson James Robin.
