Do yourself a favor in advance and find another doctor.

Dr. Gray has poor bedside manner and if it’s not her way of thinking then it’s wrong. Anything I mentioned during my appointment she said sometimes we have symptoms that don’t necessarily need to be treated. I wanted to see an allergist. Apparently she knows more that an allergist. It’s my body and my insurance. I will take the time and hassle to find someone else because I don’t ever want to speak to her again let alone treat me.

just now Received a return call from this physician, as she was the MD on call for the PIIM group. Aa the POA of my 80 year old Father and a nurse for 30 years, I explained that my Father has body aches and temp of 100.4 and went for COVID testing but they were not tested for influenza. His results will not be back for 72 hours. Requested tamiflu as it indicated in elderly patients with symptoms of the flu within 48 hours of onset. She refused. Stated “it is not the standard of care for COVID.” I stated that I was not asking it for the treatment of COVID rather, as the standard of care for the flu and his symptoms were consistent with the flu. She refused. She told me to take my Dad to the ER even though he was in no distress and we were only requesting tamiflu. She admitted she didn’t have access to his chart and therefore doesn’t realize she was going to send a medically compromised person to an ER where active COVID patients are. She was choosing to put my father at risk… vs simply ordering tamiflu as the preventative treatment for the flu. She then said “I will not do it because you are demanding it.” She continued to interrupt me and could not provide a reasonable explanation for why she was refusing to order Tamiflu. She instead hung up on me while I was in mid-sentence. I am left wondering what kind of Physician would behave so unprofessionally? In the midst of COVID the goal is to keep people at home and avoid unnecessary exposure whenever possible. I wonder Dr. Gray, if this is how you would choose to care for your loved ones? There are many Physicians out there... do not settle for this kind of a Physician who expresses absolutely zero compassion.

Good doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Gray's for about 30 years. I just realized yesterday how cruel she really is. I think she has gotten worse over time, because I don't remember it being THIS bad. I cannot believe how mean she was; I am about 15 pounds overweight and she told me that my diet MUST be crap, because most American's eat crap., and she would love for me to prove her wrong. She asked me what I eat; when I told her for breakfast I make a little egg salad from one hard boiled egg with toast, she screamed that I cannot eat mayonnaise EVER again! Then didn't want to continue with a discussion of my diet. (BTW, I use light mayo which is 1/3 the calories of butter). She tells me I am diabetic, but refused to give me treatment, saying I should diet and exercise for for 3 months FIRST, even though the primary reason for my visit yesterday was a twisted knee: READ, not going to be doing much walking right now!!! My husband was with me and could not believe how insulting she is. … He is now encouraging me to get a new doctor. So I came to look at reviews: I am appalled at what I am seeing, and you are all CORRECT.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I went. She came in the room rather pleasant but when I started describing symptoms I was having and asking questions, she turned and looked me straight in the eye stating that she was the doctor with 30 some years experience and that I was wrong. I simply said I’m just asking a question and she said that her approach is different than most doctors and that it worked for her. It may work for her, but not for the patient and especially not for me. I’m not speaking about her knowledge or experience but her way of approaching patients is nasty. If you don’t ask any questions she probably will be fine but if you do, she feels challenged and puts you in place. I will not be returning.

Dr. Gray is rude, talks down to her patients. She is not compassionate at all. Avoid this doctor at all costs! Never had this experience in my life! She truly is a Dr. House. This dinosaur needs to retire or pop off. She is the meanest and lacks basic people skills, worst physician I have ever encountered.

I just never feel like she pays any attention to what I am saying I am experiencing in my body. I've left her after 10 years.

Office staff is unprofessional and rude, particularly Billing department. Poor customer service and communication.

(I came across Dr. Gray's name and still remember VIVIDLY the following scenario like it was yesterday, so I decided to write this review.) Several years ago, I saw Dr. Gray because I was having what I believed to be hypoglycemia during extreme exercise (tennis tournaments/competition) and first thing in the morning. I described my symptoms as light-headedness, trembling, extreme sweating, nausea, ringing in my ears, and spotted vision that sometimes resulted in loss of vision completely (near fainting). I told her that my mother had had these symptoms, as well (she was put on a diabetic diet), and I thought I had hypoglycemia. She CURTLY scolded me, "Any reasonable clinician will tell you there is NO SUCH THING as hypoglycemia!" I quickly backed away and said, "Okay, then what do YOU think it is?" She tapped her finger to her temple and stated, "Panic attacks." I was HIGHLY offended because only after our brief interaction was over, she asked me what I do for a living. I… calmly replied, "Psychologist." I would NEVER recommend someone see this doctor, as she is insulting and clearly didn't know her medicine--I've been successfully controlling these symptoms since then by increasing my protein and decreasing high-glycemic-index carbs in exchange for low-glycemic-index carbs (slower burn energy). INSULTING!!!
