Dr. Martha Denise Guerra, MD

Dr. Guerra is NOT the Dr. for you if you are having your first child for sure or if 2nd, or 3rd truthfully. She was so vague always and never wanted to answer any ?'s and would make you feel foolish for asking. It was apparent she has been doing her job too long and no longer cares. Did not note my daughters charts correctly or any at that causing her to have Emergency C Section in which she was not present for and did not even come to room at hospital to check on her as I saw her a few times in hallway. I regret not getting my daughter to switch Dr.'s as she was horrible. Horrible person all around and nurses at Hospital all said so as well without having to actually say the words. I am going complain to Texas Medical Board next.

Incompetent, Do not Recommend. Went to see her due to thickening of uterus (no response) and blood in urine (left samples twice). She did not check either and it took her 3 times to see me to do nothing.

I had a great experience at Dr. Guerra's office. Clean and beautiful office. Her staff was kind and helpful. Dr. Guerra was extremely pleasant , knowledgeable and helpful. I will return for my next annual visit and recommend her to my friends and family.

We heard from numerous sources that nobody goes back to Guerra for their second child and now we know why. The nurses at the practice were always helpful and friendly but Guerra will let you down when she's most needed. She didn't even realize my baby girl had complications and was in NICU. She may have known this if she attended the birth or maybe just bothered to check to see if the baby was healthy? Since we let her know our baby was still in NICU, Guerra has not followed up with any information...or at all for that matter. She screwed up setting the induction date, showed callous indifference and now can't be bothered to see how her charges are doing. Guerra is awful.

I love Dr.Guerra she is always kind and gental mannered. I will continue to see her as long as she is still in practice.

I have been her patient for about 9 years she is always on time and easy to work with.

The staff is friendly and my wait time was great they attended to me promptly! Dr. Guerra is very understanding and actually takes the time to listen to my questions as a first time mom I had a lot of questions and she is very helpful! I feel very confident in her and I'm glad she is my OBGYN I would recommend her to any woman who cares about being treated with care and understanding during their pregnancy.

I had a great experience. Dr Guerra patiences, compassion and attentiveness are striking qualities about her. I will continue to be her patient as long as she continues to practice.

I've been going to Dr.Guerra since I was 16 years old. NO MORE! I've been with her through 2 babies, a laporoscopy, and a full hysterectomy. I only stayed this long because she knew my history. Well I thought she knew my history! My last appointment I was asked when my last period was. Are you kidding me? Does the chart not state that I had a life changing surgery? From the time I was pregnant with my first child I have felt like I was not worth her time. Is it my fault I let it go on so long? Yes. I have since switched doctors. Dr. Guerra is very nice, but when it comes to getting an answer, or discussing your issue, count her out! And her nurses........holy moly snobby. Would not recommend, don't do what I did! Any doctor can get your records and learn your history.

Dr. Guerra is an amazing doctor!! She really takes the time to answer all of my questions! She made my pregnancy a breeze even though I was high risk. She always made sure I was taken care!! Her staff is great too they are always so helpful! I recommend Dr. Guerra to anyone looking for a fantastic doctor!!
