Dr. Martha E Hackett, MD

This has to the rudeness staff I have ever dealt with. Always in a hurry to get off the phone. The staff always uses the the excuse that they are working with a new computer. It's been 5 month's. You should know how to use a computer program. And if it is Friday, the office closes early. Will not return. Staff is is ridiculously RUDE. I'm done!

Martha Hackett is the rudest doctor I ever met! After your 5 minutes are up, she gets up and walks out in the middle of asking questions. Even though my numbers were improving, she told me “It’s about time I get serious about my diet.” After a year I had enough of her rudeness and found a holistic doctor I really like. My advice is to skip Hackett and go somewhere else first.

She has caused more harm than good. Please someone repute her to medical board. State of Ohio

I have used this doctor's office for 10 years to treat illnesses and for my kids' school physicals. I loved seeing Dr. Ciotti. This visit was the first time I've seen Dr. Ciotti's replacement, and it was a nightmare. The wait time was excessive at over an hour. This follow up visit for a weekend ER trip was ridiculous. Doc said the computer system linking the lab was down and she couldn't get my lab results unless someone called for them, but when asked if she had or would call, she refused to do so. Instead of taking 5 minutes to do that necessary action, she spent over 20 minutes questioning the hospital doctor's diagnosis and my knowledge of my symptoms, aggressively pushing veganism - "Don't eat meat! Don't drink milk!" She insulted my intelligence related to an unrelated chronic illness I've lived with for 30+ years. To top it off, she wanted to run the same tests I'd already paid for at the hospital, and make me wait an additional three days for those results before treating… me - all because she couldn't access the result without calling the lab which she didn't want to do. She diagnosed me with three different problems (none were correct) while sitting across her desk from me based on what she thought my symptoms were, not what I was telling her or what the discharge papers from the ER said. Bottom line, a patient should never have to be verbally combative with their doctor, but that's what I had to do to get her to call the lab. When she finally did so, my "story" and the ER doctor's diagnosis was validated and she grudgingly treated me with a round of antibiotics, however she gave me a shortened supply so I can only hope it actually works. In the meantime, I am actively looking for another doctor.

I enjoyed being a patient when Dr. Ciotti was there. After retirement, her replacement is awful. No patient should ever feel combative with their doctor. After an ER visit, i made my follow up with Dr. Kaebler at HMG. When the intranet with the hospital lab went down, the dr could have called for my results but didn't want to. She instead wasted 20 minutes insulting me over my choice to eat meat and questioned my intelligence and my husband's ability in bed. As outlandish as it sounds, I couldn't make this up!! A threat to call the lab myself finally got her to call and proved my "story" and i was sent on my way with a prescription.

Martha Hackett is a poor excuse for a doctor. When my Mom and Dad had a visit with her, she told them that she and her doctor husband had been bought out by a corporation, and they were only allowed to spend 10 minutes with each patient. Because of this, she overlooked my Dad's skin cancer. They are all about money. Don't ever go to these evil people. I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Hofios in the medical building next to Tripointe Hoapital. My husband and I recently went to him, and she spent 30 minutes with each of us

I've been coming here for 20 years and I wouldn't change unless I had to. She may have gone a little new age, but she is still on point with diagnoses. She is very quick, but she will take the time to answer all questions.

Dr. Hackett is always very professional, but she constantly left me feeling as if I was in the wrong for going in to see her. She rushes in, gives you instructions (or throws your concerns under the rug), and rushes out. I usually leave feeling bewildered and as if my concerns were not properly assessed. I felt as if I could not talk to her freely. More often than not, I would end up seeing someone else because Dr. Hackett wasn't available. Also, when I had my PAP smear, she was extremely rough and I bled for quite awhile afterward. I have since found a new doctor, and I am very relieved to know that there really are doctors out there who are much better at communicating and diagnosing.

My experience with Dr. Martha Hackett and her staff is always excellent. The wait time is almost always reasonable. I've known Dr. Martha for over thirty years - I guess you could assume I am a satisfied patient!

Your Reiki master, Ken Egbert, is a healer with amazing, healing hands. The energy I feel between us in treatment is indescribable. I have had aches and pains healed, both physical and emotional. I have even seen him lay hands on my dogs, who just collapse and calm down at his touch. What a gift he has!
