Dr. Martha Annette Hanson, MD

I only had two appointments with Dr. Hanson. I thought she would be a good fit for me after the first appointment, but when I saw her for the second appointment, I thought she was a bit rude in talking to me about my problems and other reasons for seeing her. I thought her approach in her plans of what she wanted to do to help me was too aggressive. I debated whether to go a third time, but I ended up cancelling the appointment. I was disappointed that seeing a new doctor did not work out. I read the other review of her and thought it may be just me, but she did come across rather rude. She made me feel that it was my fault about the things that we were discussing. I hope other patients would write their reviews. I would be interested in reading them.

Dr.Hanson was a real disappointment for me. Although I am not a patient of her, I came across a very rude, unprofessional attitude of hers during my prescription pick-up. I had the feeling that she had completely forgotten that she is working for a psychiatry department. This unprofessional behavior should not be promoted and encouraged in hospitals. "I have no time, you have to wait, or I'm too busy to deal with this right now" kind of sentences should be avoided especially for those of us who were not walk-in patients. After all, disorganization in the department is not our fault and we are (and our insurances) obviously paying for their mistakes each time we have to visit this unit. I hope this message finds Dr. Hanson and I believe that there is always room for improvement. All we have to do is to take the critics constructively not personally. Best regards,
