Truly horrible experience with surgery

Dr. Holzworth ruined a family members life. She did surgery on both feet and it turns out it should never have been done. Her problem is so much worse that she has no quality of life left. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

Performed unnecessary surgery on my sister’s feet, causing new problems, misshapen toes, chronic new pain, inability to wear normal shoes, and original problem not fixed. Other doctors, foot surgeons, confirm surgery was unnecessary and harmful. Beware.

AVOID DR. MARTHA HOLZWORTH AT ALL COSTS! I visited her for pain in the balls of my feet and trusted her expertise. She diagnosed me with a congenital foot problem and suggested surgery to remove the third metatarsal bone in both feet. Unfortunately, this decision turned my life upside down. Not only did the surgery fail to address my original issue, but it also resulted in major toe problems that were never present before. I sought second opinions from several orthopedic foot surgeons, who unanimously confirmed that my third metatarsal bone was not abnormally low, and removing it was unnecessary and harmful. I even consulted a specialist in Miami who attempted to rectify the damage, but to no avail. As a result, I now struggle to wear normal shoes as my third toes pop up and get caught on everything. I'm forced to wear silicone supports day and night just to prevent them from popping up. The absence of vital bones in my feet has led to the development of hammer toes and other… deformities. The excruciating discomfort haunts me constantly. I find no relief whether I'm sitting, lying down, or attempting to sleep. The thought of what this doctor did to my toes keeps me awake at night. If only I could turn back time and never encounter her, my life would be significantly better. The extreme pain caused by even the slightest movement disrupts my sleep, as the covers brushing against my feet cause immense discomfort. Please learn from my painful experience and avoid Dr. Martha Holzworth at all costs. Protect yourself from the devastation she has caused me...

This was a horrible experience for me. Dr. Lloyd who is a very good surgeon sent me to this podiatrist just to get fitted for an ankle brace. But that’s not what she wanted to do; she wanted to body shame me and call me fat and she actually called some guy who had weight-loss surgery even though I told her that I had a surgeon that was recommended by three doctors. In the 10 minutes she was in my office she made two phone calls. She told me nothing about the brace she was ordering for me. From the companies website I knew they had multiple products and I also knew from their website that they sent samples to the physicians but she showed me nothing. I have no idea what she ordered for me; the medical assistant told me it was a small brace that just went on the ankle and Holzworth told me it goes halfway up my calf. The whole office experience was horrible and I hope Dr. Lloyd reads this and hires a decent podiatrist.
