Dr. Martha Springs La Pietra, MD

She listens, she cares and I really want her as a pcp. I have a good pcp but want to change pcp can't wait for next year so I can change.

Excellent physician in my opinion-in all respects.

I am a long time patient of Dr. LaPietra trying to find information about where, when or if my Dr. Is going to be practicing medicine. I really like Dr. LaPietra and don't want to see anyone else if I don't have to. Any information would be greatly appreciated.......

I am a long time patient of Dr Lapietra and really liked her and depended on her for my medical care, however I've received a letter from her group telling me she is not longer there. Can anyone tell me my after 22 years why shes gone and where is she seeing her patients? Her office is not giving out any additional information. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I did not like my experience at her office, or with Dr. Lapietra. I was a new patient, and I found she did not ask many questions, nor did she seem interested. I went to see her about an issue, which every doctor I've seen before would have done an internal (vagina) examination. Dr. Lapietra did not examine me, which should have been done and just gave me a prescription, and that was it. I found her to be very dismissive with me. I would never go back to see her.

Takes time with the patient and I don't feel as though I am being rushed out the door.

She has been my doctor for about 6 years now,and has seen me from colds and flu through type 1 diabetes and now my back problems. She is the best doctor I have seen in many many years and I appreciate everything she does for me.

I have had 2 horrible experiences with Dr. La Pietra's staff. First, they overbook appointments and I average a wait time of at least 45 minutes to an hor before even going back and then another 20 minutes to half hour before i see the doctor. I had tests ran 2 weeks ago and still have not heard anything about results and have followed up 3 times with a phone call and have not heard back. The doctor cancelled one of my appoints for a well wom,an and had to reschedule for a month later but I needed a refill on my birth control and after 3 days of Walgreens faxing the nurse and 3 phoncalls of my own she finally responded and acted like an idiot on the phone saying she just got the message. I do not know of any other line of work where you could be so absent minded or flakey and get away with it. I like seeing Dr. La Pietra but the stress her office staff causes might give me a heart condition and I know for a fact I'd never get in in time to see her. I am changing doctors as soon… as I get the results I'm STILL waiting for back. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED and FRUSTRATED!!

Dr. LaPietra is a great doctor. However, getting a call back from her nurse is basically impossible, as well as getting the insurance forms filled out and submitted through her nurse. Basically the office is inefficient.

Dr. LaPietra was one of the best dr. i have ever gone to see. She was so nice and very clear at explaning on to me every thing i needed to know. i would recommend her to everyone i know!
