Dr. Martha Sribnick, MD

The worst appointment I have ever had. She is the chief of exceptional family member program. Her very first statement to me was, "well I'm sorry, we have rules we have to follow." Not hello, how are you today, we can discuss this...very cold and callous. She explained to me she changed what the other doctor out because that woman (in the same hospital) wasn't a doctor. Then she changed my treatment plan from my oncologist! What in the world would allow someone like this to run this department. When we came in to the office she was complaining to the clerk about some other patient's doctor and information. Very rude and maybe HIPPA

Dr. Sribnick has been a great pediatrician for both of my children. She tends to look at the "whole" patient, rather than pour over percentile charts and statistics. One of my pet peeves is when doctors start talking to me in statistics. I really just want to know if my child is healthy. Like most mom I worry CONSTANTLY. Dr. Sribnick has a very easy manner, and she helps put everything in perspective ("Well, he is a slender child, but he looks healthy and well-nourished. Offer good choices, give him a multivitamin, and try not to worry too much about his picky eating"). She is also good at talking to the child (who is, after all, the patient). She does not talk about them in the third person as if they aren't in the room, and she tells them everything she is going to do BEFORE she does it. My youngest has really bad eczema from head to toe, and she spent almost a half hour discussing ways to control it and ease the itching for him. She is an excellent pediatrician, and… definitely one of the best I have come across in the military health care system.

My child was seen for a common fungal infection and after 7 visits between ms.sribnick and another provider, was offered no additional treatment options. Provider did not even LOOK at area of infection at appointment. Wait times where 3 hrs past scheduled appt time. Never really answers any of your questions, just sort of gives you your question back to you. Quack. It took me 2 months to get my infant seen elsewhere while her infection went untreated with the hospitals b.s. Absolutely. Terrible. Run.

This is one of the most unfriendly women to be a childrens doctor. No bedside mannor and very dry personality.

I WOULD NOT recommend her to any body who has a child and is seen at Moncrief Army Community Hospital.
