THIS LADY RUINED MY LIFE. if I could give zero stars I would. When I unexpectedly got pregnant, she told me I was a liability and dropped me as a patient, and I ended up going cold turkey on all of my meds because I had no one to help me taper. I almost died. Went back to her after I gave birth because I had troubles finding another psychiatrist, and she would only prescribe me medications that were new and that she’d make commission off of. Liz, her PA, never listened to me & would be looking at her phone during my appts. Told her I was self harming & she said it sounded like normal postpartum hormones and that it would go away. At one point, Dr St John said I wasn’t bipolar, that it was just hormones, and I didn’t need medicine. After almost killing myself, I saw a different doctor & I indeed I am bipolar. My new doctor put me on new medications and I have never felt so good in my life. My new psychiatrist saved my life within a week. This lady needs to lose her license. Don’t know… how many people who have taken their lives under her horrendous care.

I have been struggling with my mental health for years, I finally went to a doctor and I couldn't be happier that it is Dr. St John. She is amazing. She doesn't throw medicine at you, takes the time to understand what is going on and always has several "plans" in case some medication doesn't work. The front office staff is amazing, so friendly and helpful. Liz is also amazing and I go to her a lot as well. You'll be lucky to have Dr. St John and her practice in your life.

I have been a patient for many years. She takes time to "hear" me. She is very vested in her patients.

Susan, the receptionist, is rude. Would not recommend even trying to get in to this office.

The receptionist NEVER answers the main phone and the voicemail says they will return your call by the end of the following business day. What?! They can't be that busy! When I called a secondary number on their website, someone answered but said it was only for their TMS treatments. Apparently even though it is in the same office, they can't communicate to each other that someone is on the phone. I don't mind being put on hold. After waiting 30+ hours to get a call back, I finally called again, of course, with no answer. I called the other TMS line just so I could talk to someone and that lady argued with me again about what number to call until she finally walked to get the actually receptionist on the phone. After all the nonsense, I find out that they are not accepting new patients, even though my insurance's website says they are. When I suggested that they put that on their website the receptionist said it would take too much time to do that monthly. Really?! An update once a… month?! I guess everything is slow moving over there. I would love to see the doctor. She seems great, but that receptionist is just so rude! I would think the receptionist for a psychiatrist would be a lot more courteous since you're dealing with people that have some pretty serious mental issues. I don't even think it is worth trying next month to see if there are any openings. Shame.

Both my husband and I see Dr St John. We really love her. Her office staff is another story. Not nice at all. Also, they just started doing more "lab" work. My husband just gave them a urine sample, then we received a bill from our insurance company for 5200.00!! No blood, just urine. We called and again the staff was rude, but gave us another number to call. Patrick stated that this is new and they would just take what insurance pays, but my insurance denied it. To us this does not seem right. Not happy at all.

Best doctor ever! Good listener. Compassionate. Healing results.

I love Dr. St. John. I have been seeing her since 2007 when she first opened her practice. I really like her a lot. She listens and takes a lot of time to evaluate your situation. She is a very passionate, caring doctor. I wouldn't want to see any other doctor.

I have been going to Dr St John for 8 years to manage my ADD. Exceptional doctor, caring, listens, makes need changes in prescriptions, easy to talk to, "gets it", HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I really was interested in seeing her but I call asking questions and the staff wasn't very helpful or compassionate. She answered my questions as if she was annoyed and practically hung up on me when I said I think that's all. I called back to confirm that the line wasn't a call center and that it was the receptionist/front staff because I feel like friendly staff is important & can be helpful. When I asked if this was the receptionist or a call center. She laughed and said receptionist. I then explained to her that they are not very friendly and I will continue searching for a new doctor and she just hung up. No sorry, or who did you talk to, NOTHING :( I just want a good doctor with a friendly environment in Houston.
