Dr. Martin Eldridge Bacon, MD

So I visited Dr. Bacon for the 1st time. U spent $50 as a new patient for copay. So I was really hoping he would give me some answers to why I suffered a heart attack because my tryponin levels were elevated according to the ER doctor evaluation. So the nurse staff was polite and took down all my concerns. The moment he comes in after I had been waiting for an hour. He comes in reading the nurses notes but asking me what am I doing here. I was like what is most people here for... Duh! So I explained to him my situation. Hardly once did the man look me into my eyes. He just kept fiddling with the paper. The he hurries and checks my vitals and breathing and then tells me his opinionated suggestion that I should join weight watchers. I told him I needed asome kind of return to work letter and he tells me I can forget that. He doesn't have the time to fill out my paperwork. He said it so rudely and rsuggested I return back in 2 weeks for simple blood work. Then he rushed out the door… off to the next patient. I felt like I wasted my money and time and insurance for nothing. I could of told myself those things without his input. Never again will I go to a doctor who doesn't spend quality time with their patients and not look at them just as another paycheck in their pocket. Smh

I had a heart attack in 2002 and heart disease runs in my family. I'm still going after that heart attack and by the expertise of Dr Bacon and other Doctors in the practice. A heart attack at 54 but 71 and still going. He is very good and this is a hard field to be in.

Excellent doctor

He seemed in a rush to complete the appointment. He was using his cellphone during consultation. He was quick to interrupt, and dismiss statements I was making.

Dr. Bacon not known for his bedside manner, is known for his expertise in his field. I'll take that every time. Have been living in Ga. the past 4 year's and it's scary in every aspect. At least with Dr. Bacon at the helm I didn't have that feeling of impending doom that I tend to feel here. 2 different large cities here and if I have the money to fly back to Fay. just for Heart related things, that's exactly what I'd do. Their whole team is awesome. Dr. Guinn all the way to Penny in the Defib checking area. When your life is on the line, give me the guy who's by the book. Makes me appreciate the Military bedside manner. Jackie Martin

Dr. Bacon was my cardiologist for just over a year. I have seen many cardiologist and he is by far one of the best doctors I have seen. He is very knowledgable and professional. His medical assistant Amanda, is also very nice.
