Never answers the phone. I have waited for hours for someone to answer the phone. The least they could do is get a phone answering service. Can't contact him on his patient portal because his name is not listed.

Had surgery done by this so-called Dr. B over 4 years ago and still in more pain now than before the surgery. Pain still down both legs. Left-arm numbs from elbow to tip of finger Fingers on right hand still numb Having difficulty doing things with my hands. More back pain after the surgery than before. Was told it would take time to heal.How about over four years," really " and still having problems. Just everyday minor chores are very difficult The last appointment was told by the doctor that I would probably have to come back every 6 months to a year for steroid injections. Let me see now maybe ....just maybe... we should have tried the injections first. I'm just saying....... I am frequently ask who did my surgery and I tell everyone, you do not want to use the Dr that did the surgery on me. Do yourself a favor and choose a better doctor than the one that I had. Oh well ...I guess what is done is done..... But maybe just maybe, I can keep other people from going… through what I am going through right now and having to live with it the rest of my life.

Dr Baggenstos provided great care for my mom. He never rushed when checking up on her in the hospital. Dr. Baggenstos even entertained her wine/coffee jokes for the week heading up to surgery. He seemed to truly care about her health. He was patient with all of the family's questions. Finally, he performed the surgery well and gave my mom the best chance she can have. Our family is deeply grateful to Dr. Baggenstos.

I'm 34. On Medicaid. Had MRI, multiple x rays. Went to "Dr" B to help fix my herniated disk that's touching and deviating my nerve root and to help me figure out where my pain is coming from. He sauggested a flex x-ray and bone scan. I do both. X-ray comes back with facet hypotrophy, bone scan comes back with bone island right ilium, and SI degeneration. In the meantime I get blood work done from my PCP to check for ankolosing spondylitis. I test positive. I get a call from his office with my results and he said "everything is normal" no talk about any of the above which is very concerning since this is a man with a title of "neurosurgeon" unbelievable. Don't let this person ever try and act like he cares because he doesn't. My bone island was never mentioned and come to find out it can turn into cancer or be something that needs to be watched. He doesn't care. He figures I can just go for another 10 years while my spine eats away and come back then. Terrible staff too I called and… asked to have my results released on to MyChart and his rude staff lady tells me, "I have worked here for 10 years and we are seperate from Providence and don't do that but I can have the doctor call you" that's funny because what Dr didn't know was that my results were automatically electronically released to me all the while his staff calls me to tell me that "everything looks normal" ?? don't even do it people. One thing I can say he did was a bone scan and flex x-ray. Just to not give a care what it said anyway. Because I'm 34, and on Medicaid.

It's virtually impossible to actually speak to this doctor when you need to. He also takes way more patients than he can actually provide after-care for. After having surgery, you need to be able to actually see and speak with your neurosurgeon to answer any concerns or problems. I had complications from surgery with him on multiple occasions and couldn't get in for follow ups for months at a time. I would highly suggest finding a doctor with a passion for finding, fixing, and following up with your problems.

After complaining to patient relations he dropped me as a patient, leaving me to start all over with new doctor just before a holiday.Compassion rating 0. Doctor God complex.

Does not answer questions. After a surgery where I came off the drugs and found I had no feeling in part of my head he if bored me for five months then ordered a ct with spinal tap which went horribly wrong I called and left messages which later I was told were not noted in his system. It took three weeks to get them to call me back at which time his assistant said they would do another surgery with no follow up.
