Dr. Martin Abraham Bielawski, MD

Gave this doctor 2 tries and won't be going back. He was almost an hour late for both appointments. Never an acknowledgement or apology which sends the message that only "his" time is important. Asked a lot of questions but didn't seemed interested in listening to anything I had to say unless it was an answer to a specific question he asked. Definitely not a warm and fuzzy personality which would be okay if I at least felt comfortable asking him questions. Was quick to cut me off when I tried to ask a question and said " I'll ask my questions first" Wasn't a great experience.

Didn’t give full exam for what I saw him for. Never asked if I was on new meds, which I was! Wanted to increase a med I was on without telling why! Focused on me slurring some words and it was the new med I started which apparently didn’t mix well with other meds! I am in pain and he explained new procedures for pain meds which I didn’t know., but I understood completely. Walked out of there and no answer to what I saw him for! I could go on but it’s a long one. Find a neurologist that listens and any doctor that listens to your concerns even if they don’t want to here it and sends you off to some other doctor... in that case change doctors!

I wasn't looking for warm and fuzzy. I wanted experience and ability. I found Dr Bielawski to be both professional and knowledgable. He asked pertinent questions and listened to my responses, then proceeded in an efficient manner to administer the EMG test.Afterwards his attendant helped me get up while he gave me a quick review of his opinion and a written review to be followed by a written report to my PCP. "No muss, no fuss" for what I imagined would be a dreadful test and experience.

extremely lacking in people skills. waited 55 minutes and no acknowledgement of the wait. if you don't mind a doctor who has no interest in your problem then go ahead. And mind you, the results of my tests were not negative.
