Summary

Dr. Martin Brecher and the Hope Springs Team are committed to bringing out the best in everyone who enters the facility. The multidisciplinary team—composed of psychiatrists and licensed therapists—provides care for adolescents, teens, and adults with a variety of neurological and behavioral conditions. On-site psychotherapy is required, and medication is prescribed when clinically indicated. Hope Springs operates as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and accepts insurance for teens and adults only when psychotherapy is included in the agreed treatment plan. Families are encouraged to participate in the treatment model.

Dr. Brecher treats a wide range of conditions, including mood disorders, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorders, OCD, and more. Treatment is delivered in a collaborative group setting in which the clinical team consults on each individual case, recognizing that every patient is unique and benefits from coordinated, team-based care.

Hope Springs is licensed in Pennsylvania for mental health services by DHS and for substance abuse by DOH, and holds federal accreditation from The Joint Commission. As part of the IOP, clients who successfully complete the program are offered access to one of the facility’s psychiatrists or nurse practitioners for an initial medication evaluation and ongoing medication management for at least one year. This courtesy is intended to reduce the burden of locating in‑network psychiatric care and to help clients focus on skill-building and recovery without disruption to their medication regimen.
