Dr. Martin John Desantis, DO

I have been with Comprehensive Med Psych for years now. I am a Workman's Comp and do not pay. When my psychiatrist moved to Indiana I was told to see Dr. DeSantis. Upon arrival, I was told to pay. I explained that I have been seeing the previous doctor for some 4 years and never paid. She referred me to the owner, Geoffrey Kanter. He told me that I have to pay because comp was slow in paying. To say that to me was not only despicable but also gave me greater anger and anxiety. So Dr. Kanter accepted comp at the beginning, then changed his mind putting me at risk mentally and financially. I was devastated and completely stressed out. I needed some notes and help for a hearing so I decided to stay and pay. Dr. Desantis is a good guy but too soft when needing letters. He was afraid to support me. I never told him to lie. Just tell the truth and he would not do it. So I fired him recently. He did not fill my needed medications putting me at grave risk. So I would never recommend… Comprehensive Med Psych.

Finally found a doctor who actually listens and understands my problems. From the first visit, Dr. DeSantis gave me the safety and security I need for my well being. I never felt rushed. I only felt trust and felt he was a human being and not just a doctor. I am very happy I found him!!
