Dr. Martin Bishop Draznin, MD

Dr. Draznin ALWAYS makes himself available for any issue that can arise for your child's T1D needs. I have called him many times when my child is sick and he always gets back to us in 20mins or less with adjustments or advice on what steps to take. I don't know how many doctors you can say that about. He actually takes time to talk to kids and see how they are feeling.

This dr. Is just waiting out his retirement. My granddaughter was admitted to Bronson Hospital with a reading of 812 when the hospital contacted his office they did not do any adjustments in her meds. I can't tell how many times she has been admitted and he does nothing for her. I WILL report this man. I pray Kalamazoo will get a new pediatric endrocinologist very soon.

Dr. Draznin pretty much walked out on me and my daughter because I did not agree with his goals of AC1 test 7.5 and Low 65. He does not follow the American diabetes association goals AC1 test for 9 year old 8.0 and Low is 70. His goals are 7.5 and Low 65..switching doctors.

I've been a patient of his for about 12 years, and I've never experienced a problem at the office, in either waiting time or diagnoses. Blood work is reviewed accurately and results have always been mailed to me within a week of the test.
