"This was the worst service I have ever received from someone claiming to be a professional. After rescheduling my appointment because his office said he had scheduled a surgery during my appointment time m, I arrived only to be told he scheduled a surgery during that time, as if my time is not also valuable. When he did arrive, he was not prepared for my appointment. It was obvious he took no time to review my scans or explain the findings. He took the word of an assistant that I overheard him talking to in the hallway. When he met with me he discredited the professional that interpreted my results, stating the diagnosis was inaccurate. He then proceeded to tell me if I didn’t like what he stated to go get another opinion from Rush hospital or another specialty hospital somewhere else because his group handled all cardiovascular services in my area. If you want a professional that values your time and treats you as if your health concerns matter, I would not recommend this person.… Find someone that appears to invest in continuing education credits, and educates themselves on cutting edge diagnostic research, treatment, and technology.

Dr. Ellen by was so Kind and professional! I would only trust him as my Surgeon. He’s Amazing. Everyone should trust him with their Heart!

I called this office well over a month ago and was told by the woman that she was alone at the front desk and would call me back to schedule an appointment when her coworkers returned. No return call, so saw someone at Northwestern.

I thought he was great until he operated on me and then he was through with me. He seems like a premadonna.

Wonderful, caring doctor who diagnosis is right on and spends time explaining things easily to patient and family
