Dr. Martin Frederic Freedman, MD

Dr. Freedman helped me to conceive a beautiful baby boy. This was not an easy process, but while under the care of Dr. Freedman, he was professional and knowledgeable, and, above all, compassionate and kind. On more than one occasion, he called me personally to see how I was feeling. I highly recommend Dr. Freedman to any couple undergoing fertility treatments. My husband and I will certainly call on his expertise should we need assistance with baby number two. Thank you immensely, Dr. Freedman.

After a terrible experience at another fertility doctor's office, I was relieved to experience amazing patient care at RMA with Dr. Freedman (and Dr. Gutmann) from day one. Dr. Freedman took an entire hour at our intake appointment getting to know us, asking us about our medical histories, addressing our concerns, etc. This is in sharp contrast to our previous fertility doctor, who sat with us for about 10 minutes. After feeling ill after my egg retrieval, I called the office in a panic. Dr. Freedman personally returned my call on a Sunday morning and assuaged my concerns. We experienced this level of care from all of the nurses, staff, and even the telephone answering service throughout the 6 months that we were at RMA. Telephone calls were answered and returned promptly, there was never any hassle with insurance issues (they took care of EVERYTHING), blood draws were virtually pain-free, I was always greeted when I walked in the door, making appointments was a breeze, the office… is immaculate, I was given medication samples when I needed to take an alternative form of medication for a couple of days, nurses and staff were skilled and competent, and there were plenty of early morning appointments available. Most importantly, I was treated with kindness, and I never felt like my questions/concerns were invalid. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant after a successful egg retrieval performed by Dr. Freedman and a successful transfer performed by Dr. Gutmann. This sounds silly, but I'm actually going to miss the RMA team!

Dr. Freedman is knowledgeable and professional. You can tell that he truly cares about his patients and wishes success for them. RMA Philadelphia-KOP has some of the nicest staff as well.

When I look back at my time (and money) spent trying to overcome my secondary infertility, there are a lot of dark, frustrating times that I was able to put behind me thanks to Dr. Freedman's ability to detect what the issues were and to maximize my chances given the particulars about my case. I am glad and grateful that I sought his expertise when I did.

I would highly recommend Dr Freedman to anyone struggling with fertility issues. From our first consultation visit to our final visit (at 8 weeks pregnant), Dr Freedman was extremely attentive, responsive, and compassionate. My only regret was not visiting Dr Freedman earlier in our 'trying to conceive' journey. Previous to going to RMA, we were with another reproductive endocrinology practice which we felt was factory-like and where I felt like a number. After several months at that practice, I consulted a friend who had also struggled with fertility and she praised Dr Freedman so I had to give him and RMA a try. Our experience with Dr Freedman was nothing short of exceptional.

From the moment my husband and I met Dr. Freedman we knew our dreams of having a family would come true. He was always straight and honest with us which was exactly what we needed to hear, not some roundabout talk that could have taken us down a different and longer path. Going through fertility issues are stressful as it is but we always had complete comfort and confidence in Dr. Freedman who always assured us our dream of becoming parents was going to happen soon. And it did! Him and the whole RMA staff always provided us support and encouragement that we needed. If you want to start your family ASAP and know without a doubt you are in good hands and will have the family of your dreams, Dr. Freedman and RMA is the place for you.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Freedman and his team at RMA. His empathy and expertise made a difficult period in our lives a little bit easier. Despite setbacks he never gave up on us, and thanks to him we are hopefully expecting our first child soon. We would recommend him and his practice to anyone looking to start a family.

Dr. Freedman was amazing. He always took the time to make sure I understood everything that was going on. He took real interest in myself and having a successful outcome. He is extremely knowledgeable and has the experience to back him! I could not have asked for a better staff, Doctor or experience.
